Are you guys still taking GPU rigs for hosting?

We are still accepting GPU rigs for hosting.  However, right now we are in the middle of building out 2 additional sites, after that construction is complete we'll be accepting new hardware on site.  If you want to talk about future plans, we can do that.  But as of right now, we are temporarily at capacity until the construction is complete.

Hi SEGMining, been trying to get a hold of you guys for a while - Did you guys ever fix your email issues? None the less - do you have a timetable for when your expansion should be complete and you'd be accepting new hardware?

Same boat here. I think he's overwhelmed with all the volume given the rise of cryptos lately. My support ticket never got answered since last month and I'm a bit worried now as I have a batch coming.

Just wanted to say thanks to SEG for hosting my sp20 since November of last year.  I've always had good communication with them via email and their rates are great.  Whenever I needed to adjust the speed of my miner they adjusted my monthly bill.  I'd highly recommend them and I like that they offer local pickup and drop off.  Thanks again!

this may be a long shot but would you guys be able to help me recover an s3+ controller board? I dont feel like sending Bitmain a board and have to wait weeks on end for an answer to what they might be able to do. I had reset it while off (i know bad idea) and i am pretty sure the board needs a serial to usb recovery. Any chance you guys can help me out? I live in Vacouver, Wa.

Is it $75 per kWh plus the common unit cost?  Or are those just examples of what individual miners cost?

Exactly like mstrongbow said, that's per unit per month.

So the Antminer S3 uses roughly 360w of power to operate.  So 360w = 0.36 KW
and 0.36 KW * $75/KW/month = $27/month for hosting

Edit:  Your units are incorrect.  You're talking in KWh, I'm saying per KW.  Big difference.  Our rates turn out to be about $0.10/KWh

My bad on the units.  You guys are pretty low.  I'll have to do the math on moving them and your set up fees.

Send us email with your hardware requirements (# of units and total watts required) and we can give you a quote for setup and monthly hosting.

Also, future orders can be shipped directly to us.

I sold SEG 12 of my S1s back in July and he paid on time as agreed for them.  I've been to their hosting facility and they're legit.  I too have met D personally at the local meetup here and feel he's a trustworthy person to do business with.

Currently I have 80% of my hash power hosted with SEGMining and I am very satisfied. I have personally met the OP and he is very friendly and knowledgeable.
I have only seen my miners hash rate drop once in the last 30+ days (just tonight) and that was due to a failed PSU switch (DualPSU style)...I got out an email and within 10 minutes I had a reply stating they were back online already and what had happened.

Feel free to contact me if you have any questions about SEGMining, I will answer honestly and openly. I am not affiliated with them in any way...just a very satisfied customer.

Thanks for the awesome service and see ya on Friday mate.

ps: I've also got my buddy from California hooked up with hosting from SEGMining....took a couple power bills before he made the decision but if you are into mining for a profit, then hosting is THE way to go, especially at these rate!

I'm going to reply to this as a cross-post from reddit, as there is a lot of (due) concern about the legitimacy of some of these announcements. I've participated as a customer in several group buys, and can answer any questions anyone has about my experience with SEGMining hosting my hardware for the past few months.

From my reddit comment:
Quote
I have some gear with SEGMining, and can say that they have worked hard keeping my rigs up and running, provide very responsive replies to inquiries, and their rates are the best I've found. Mining is getting more difficult every two weeks, and to take on a serious operation now requires more power than residential typically offers. Also, most residential power alone is more expensive than what SEGMining charges, let alone the redundant Internet connection, industrial power, and secure facility.
My wife appreciates the fact that we no-longer have 3xS3s running in our bedroom, and enough scattered throughout the house to uncomfortably warm it in the middle of winter, and browining out the room when we turn on the vacuum!
