It seems there are 2 chains. There are still many that haven't updated. The coin is taking the longer chain.

All please update to v1.3.3/v2.4.

The main pool is on the latest version.

We will wait for some time till most update  otherwise we need to revert back to the old version.

How can you know if the pool you are mining on has updated?  I would think the main pool at saffroncoin.com would have done it though so I suspect I would be cool:-)

Forgot to mention, the main saffron pool has been unable to display the pool stats since the fork......this has me a little concerned that they did not update but I am not really sure, don't even yet fully understand what the hell a fork really is:-)

Ah crap! I am pretty sure my mining has gone to waste since the fork. No transactions have happened since around 4:00 pm PST and I see my coins in confirmed and unconfirmed have not changed. I gonna have to move my miners to another coin till this is resolved, that sucks:-(

saffron  forked, ppl are panic dumping  Huh Huh Huh

Is the fork confirmed? Someone above said it would fix itself?

I'd sell anyway and buy back in on the inevitable dip that will occur if we did fork.

If there is a fork, I wouldn't buy or sell or move your coins.
If some pools didn't update, then the coins they mined could be bad, and sold on exchanges before anyone knows what's going on.

Best to just sit tight.

Trades on the exchange are off the blockchain.

Oh, looks like there's 2 chains. It might fix itself.

Code:
InvalidChainFound: invalid block=29538ef143de2fcfc384e59fc00eaaa3b94f8b5815b4f980c64c9001de6971d7  height=171827  log2_work=33.530488  date=2014-08-05 02:34:33

InvalidChainFound: Warning: Displayed transactions may not be correct! You may need to upgrade, or other nodes may need to upgrade.

EDIT: Nevermind. Looks like the longer chain still has the old coinbase (72) rather than the new one (32). This just means people have to update their clients... Then all will be fine.

Code:
REORGANIZE: Disconnect 2 blocks; 1603fd72333e787c2d21c1104cb3cacaa1bcff4b8494ee5c503f637953c06826..

Same here, stuck at 171813.

And that's strange, because in the log I see one node has:

Code:
receive version message: version 70001, blocks=171826

but other nodes have:

Code:
receive version message: version 70001, blocks=171813

Anyone know why?  Huh

Great, the hardfork has kicked in smoothly. Thanks griffitsj for the clarification.

Now the reward is 32. The gradual reduction has started. The next reward will be 27 which will occur after a few months. I know that Bittrex have updated but I am not sure about Cryptsy and the other exchanges. Do not send huge amounts to those exchanges unless it is confirmed that they have updated.

Now our next stop SFRPAY is nearing final stages of Development!

Great work.  I am sure the markets will respond favourably to this news as it gives a lot of confidence in the dev team.

New block reward now in effect.  Ignore the explorer where it still says reward 72 as this is hardcoded.  Look at the first transaction (coinbase) and you will see it says 32.  I am sure some FUDders will try to say it failed ☺

Thanks for letting us know, was worried a bit  Smiley

Adding the fact they'll soon add (within 3-4 days) the ability to buy SFRcoins via paypal, Saffroncoin is HEAVILY undervalued. That's my opinion ! Let's see if I'm right !
