I Installed Windows v.2.4 on windows 8.1 and it will not run.
Windows v.2.3.1 - beta works though.
Rebooted the system still the same?
Do I need to move \Appdata\Roaming\Saffroncoin\ to a temporary directory then run version 2.4?
I don't want to loose my hard earned SFR.
Any thoughts?

Could you please elaborate? The wallet doesn't start or doesn't sync?
Try backing up your wallet.dat file to another location and try redownloading the blockchain. Once u feel everything is well, copy back the wallet.dat file.
I found the problem, it is being blocked by Avast... so I have to add it on the exception list since the new executable file resides in a new directory.....

Yes it is. V1.3.3 is the latest classic wallet version.
Is the github up to date for linux wallet?
I can't launch the wallet from the website in archlinux (too many old dependencies for my distro), first time I've to compile from github to launch the linux wallet

There is a classic wallet available for Linux on the website saffroncoin.com.
But we are not keeping a multi-tasking(2.*) wallet for Linux because the effort in developing 2.* Wallet is a lot and not a lot are using the SFR Linux wallet. If there are many who would like a Linux 2.* Wallet, then we will look to have it.

Either I'm doing something wrong, or SFRMS is not working on the new wallet.
