quick question about the way difficulty works with the multi-algo...

does each algo have it's own independent diff that adjusts based on that algo's conditions (nethash etc) or do they all influence each other ?

i noticed before the fork that as the x11 diff rose, scrypt and groestl was falling, etc... i got the impression that if one algo is more popular then the other, and is being hit heavier, the diff on the other algos would adjust lower...

is this the way it works ?

No each algo is independent. Before the 1.3.2 update, they was a bug with the block calculation. So you might have got the impression that one influences another.

Now every algo is independent and will find a block every 450 secs. That means on an average every 90 secs including all 5 algos, a SFR block will be found.

ok, got it...

Is there p2pool documents for sha256? I see the scrypt one on Github or will just switching in the algo in the network.py file be enough?

Please update your wallets soon and stop mining on pools who haven't updated yet.

The latest chain is trying to merge with the older chain since there are more miners there.
