Well yea thanks for the input of keeping the name. But for that, i need to get in touch of all the pools to stop mining and upgrade completely. I still have to hear from Zeuspool. There should be no trace of old SFR anywhere else.

We could keep it as a relaunch of SaffronCoin. Maybe swapping of coins wouldn't be necessary then.

But we need to work on whether it is ok to keep the same name or change it.

We are doing this only for the new algos since scrypt is almost dead. X11/X13 and blake are the ones that are going to rule for the next couple of years.

I guess we can now confirm that we will be going for a new coin. Whether the name will be retained or whether it will be SFR2 is yet to be decided once we see the technicalities involved in it. Please give a day's time for that.

There could be an anonymity feature but no POS. That would change the entire meaning of the coin.

most of people like quick money.. but DEV shouldnt be one of them.
no coin was born BIG. and all big ones they came through a long way.
promote, fix bugs, make improvements and developed...
algo is not the key to success, delicate and royal DEV is all that matters.

No prob, I am leaning towards a new coin SF2 announcement to launch 1 or 2week ends[sat or sun] from now. Anonymity, POS maybe but definately a whitepaper

You have not understood what i have said. An existing coin cannot change its algo or include a new one.
If you do not want the new algos, then the current hardfork will just work fine with digishield and coin inflation checked.

It is not yet decided to go through with SFR2. We are keeping the possibilities open.

We will go with the majority.

I know the sound of a new coin would startle many but still we kept it as an option highlighting the features of it.

It is upto you to decide.

It's not because of popularity but because of the mess that happened after hard fork. I think you are not paying attention here, Devs never complained about low popularity but future plans. If we make a new coin SFR2 , these issues can be handled well. Also you are calling them childish, I think you are acting childish. At least they are being faithful to the community and asking for our support Inspite of us having a small community, there are many people out there who just abandoned one coin and move to another for making money and you can't do anything about it. They could have also done that but instead they care about community and out investments, because they are not thinking about making money in short term but instead they are thinking long term. You have my full support Devs.

In my opinion only those coin can be successful which can adapt to the requirement of the market. Market needs keep changing with time. If we have faithful and dedicated team, we can always make changes and serve the market needs.I request our community members to support Devs and let's make this coin successful.
