I feel like I got trolled, honestly. Why keep giving specific release dates and not only fail to release anything but also keep quiet about it? Are the other devs, besides Roshan, even part of this coin anymore? Did UnoCoin take precedent over SFR development, Roshan? These are genuine questions, and I'm not trying to vilify you even if it seems that way. We need the old Rosh and SFR dev team back.
I'm right here with you crypto. I honestly i have no idea what to think, which is something probably common for a lot of people around this thread. I would be ecstatic if Rosh were to post an update explaining everything, but I don't think that's going to happen or at least any time soon. Given how things have progressed the past couple months, it appears that Rosh is only updating this thread occasionally/rarely or whenever he has time. So i wouldn't expect that to change any time soon, and if he starts posting more regularly again, i'd expect/hope things to stay that way.
But the reason for his absence, or appeared absence, as of now is pure speculation. No one has any idea exactly what is up with Roshan or SaffronCoin. Some make assumptions, or educated guesses, on what might be and some very well might be true, but at least for me I'm still giving Rosh the benefit of the doubt, for better or for worse. The money i lost with SFR's price decline, i've already accepted it and moved on. Probably like many here, this coin had gone somewhat beyond the typical p/l as many of us truly care(d) about the future and success of SFR.
Roshan for over 6 months was one of the best altcoin developers, taking into account skills, accountability, and communication. I know for months now he's been MIA and everything looks bad, and I could be completely wrong, but SFR has risen from the ashes before, and just for me, i'm not personally giving up on it quite yet.
(BTW crypto all that was not directed at you specifically, just mainly voicing my opinions
You know how i feel about all of this man, but i just don't think we're getting an update unfortunately).
I am quite a positive person and always like to give people the benefit of the doubt, even when they have let us down, let us try that for a moment. The fact is, working on a coin like this is extremely time consuming, and when the price of the coin takes a dive, the miners start to drop off, and the community starts to shrink away, it would take a really devoted dev to stick around, since he essentially donates his time for free. He probably doesn't hold much SFR, and does this for free. It must be very challenging to put up with all the trolls, all the whinging, and all the entitled holders making demands, for any dev of any coin.
I agree that this has moved far beyond money for me, and I actually just think it's a good coin, with good tech, a good wallet, and still offers a lot. If anything SFR just suffered from lack of PR, with the features it was pumping out last year, it should have got far more attention than it did.
And so I have come back into this thread, because I think the first stage to recovery is accepting we have hit rock bottom, and from that perspective, things can only improve. If we show that we are still interested in this coin, can start mining on all 5 algorithms again, and bring this thread back to life, we will likely get the attention of Rosh (who has posted in recent weeks saying he hasn't abandoned the coin), who might start switching things up a gear when he sees the interest in the coin is still here. If we can mine on all 5 algorithms, just to support the coin, rather than in terms of profit, and support it as a community venture, I think we can take large steps in getting Rosh to come back to work on the coin again.
