IMPORTANT: Those that are having problems with the Tweet Box not loading in the Wallet 2.0, i found out it is basically of the new twitter API. It does not load on webkit browsers/apps such as chrome. This bug has been reported by many people to twitter and they should be looking to fix it.

Since this QT wallet also uses webkit, the same issue occurs. We will be following their update, and when they fix it, the tweets will automatically start showing in your wallet.
Some do not have this problem so we can't recompile the wallet without this feature. Those that do not have this issue need not update to anything.

For those having this issue, we will be uploading another wallet only eliminating the tweet box feature so you don't have to see a white box. Once this issue is solved by twitter, we will update and you can download the complete wallet.

For those having IRC Recaptcha issue, we are still working on it. You can use a workaround for that given by cbuchner1 above.

Workaround:  right mouse click, copy URL to clipboard. Paste to web browser. Solve captcha.

Wallet 2.0 Features

- Display the Difficulties for each algorithm and the number of blocks right from the home screen so you do not have to type commands.  This data will be updated every 5 minutes.
- Exchange rates are automatically fetched from the top 2 exchanges having the highest volume of SaffronCoin and displayed on the home screen. This data will be updated every 15 minutes.
- Notifies you if there is a Wallet Update.
- First Wallet to feature built in IRC. Now chat with the SaffronCoin community right from your Wallet. The channel is #saffroncoin (Case Sensitive).

Issues that may be encountered
Since most of the features are loaded from the web, if you have a slower connection, it may take time for the data to be loaded. If you feel any of the data is taking time to load, just close the wallet and open it again. It should load faster.
Give the IRC Page 2-3 minutes to load on slow connections. Once it is loaded, it will work seamlessly fast.
If the Tweet Box hasn't loaded within 60 seconds, close the wallet and open it again. It will load faster.

Wallet Installation
Download the Revolutionary wallet 2.0 for Windows from http://saffroncoin.com
After Download, extract the ZIP File to your preferred location.
Enter the location where you have installed the Wallet and scroll to the bottom till you find saffroncoin-qt.exe . Open it up and wait till the Wallet loads. If you are running the wallet for the first time, it may ask you that it needs atleast 10GB to store the Blockchain. Just click OK even if you do not have 10GB in your "C" drive. It may take years till the Blockchain gets to 10GB.
DO NOT REMOVE OR CHANGE ANY FILE FROM THE EXTRACTED FOLDER. ALL FILES ARE REQUIRED TO RUN THE WALLET!



If some of you feel you do not need this Revolutionary Version or it does not work properly on your computer, you can always use the Classic Version of the SaffronCoin Wallet available on the SaffronCoin Website which is at present 1.0.0.1.
The Classic Versions will have the naming conventions of 1.0,1.1,1.2.....1.9 . Security Updates will continue to be provided to the Classic Version until we make an official statement that we will stop.
The Revolutionary Version will have the naming conventions of 2.0,2.1,2.2.....2.9.
When a 3.0 Version comes out it will be called something else and it will be much bigger and advanced than the Revolutionary Version.


P.S. Revolutionary Wallet is only available for Windows. The SFR Dev Team has put in a lot of effort to get all these extra features working properly and at present we do not have the time and effort to implement this version for Mac and Linux wallets. We are really sorry for that but in the future we will look to implement this version for more Operating Systems. Before that, if anyone can create a Revolutionary Version for the other operating systems, we would give a good bounty.

Saffron bun

Original recipe makes 35 saffron buns Change Servings.
Ingredients:

    2 1/8 cups milk
    1/2 cup butter
    3 (0.6 ounce) cakes compressed fresh yeast
    8 ounces quark or sour cream
    2 (.5 gram) packets powdered saffron
    2/3 cup sugar
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    7 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
    1 cup raisins (optional)
    1 eggs, beaten

1. Heat the milk and butter in a small saucepan until the butter has melted and the temperature has reached 100 degrees F (38 degrees C). Crumble the yeast into a bowl, then pour in the warm milk. Stir well until the yeast dissolves.

2. Stir in the quark, saffron, sugar, salt, and 7 cups of the flour. Mix the dough in the bowl until it becomes shiny and silky, adding more flour as needed until it begins to come away from the sides of the bowl. Cover, and let rise for 40 minutes.

3. Prepare 2 or 3 baking sheets by covering each with a sheet of parchment paper. Lightly flour a work surface, punch down the dough, then divide into 35 pieces. Roll each piece into a rope, 5 to 6 inches long. With the rope lying flat on the work surface, roll each end towards the center, in opposite directions, creating a curled S-shape. Place the buns on the prepared baking sheets, and garnish with raisins if desired. Cover with a towel, and allow to rise for an additional 30 minutes while you preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).

4. Gently brush each bun with beaten egg, then bake in the oven until puffed and golden, 5 to 10 minutes.

haha nice, good move, I'll be buying some as well. Just wait until the website redesign and the wallet update release. so much good stuff coming, the crypto community at large will have to pay attention. I love the dedication to continued development and improvements as well as the many longer term plans the devs have (to which some will be mentioned on the website). These guys are for real and expect big things down the road. If one looks at myriad, it took a while for people to get onboard but eventually they did. I said it on my twitter, when SFR first came out that I believed that it could be the next myriad, but I was wrong, it will be bigger, different, dare i say better. I can say this because the devs are commited to developping and expanding the coin's tech, to levels we haven't seen done yet in the crypto-sphere. Bold words I know, but I always bet on good devs and so far these are some of the best, most honest and accessible I've met.
