We fixed the transaction decode part. Now we are working on decoding the transaction to retrieve the order details.

An interesting topic just came out in our IRC #sfrcoin about organizing a gaming tournament where the prizes would be in SFR. We are thinking of multi-player games such as Counter-Strike, DOTA.
What do u guys think about it?

I personally think it is pretty cool.

If there are many nods to go ahead, the community members can start organizing it.

That's a great idea! If I've not sell my gaming PC I would have liked to play for some more SFR! Cheesy

Anyway dev, i think the design of the wallet need some make over. Is that changes already in the roadmap?

Right now when i first open the wallet i need to click the next symbol to see the coin recycler tab.

I really like the functionality but you could score some points on the marketing with a better looking wallet.

The logo of Saffron is very nice too.

Yeah, I refresh the page, they ask me to log again, then its loading again, I refresh again and it says transaction cancelled.

I don't really mind I prefer to buy on the market myself, but it's a good opportunity to bring more buyers and more buying support, it would've been more interesting if it worked better.

I do understand it is not in your power, it is still a nice innovation to buy with Fiat from your wallet.

Yes it is our most used feature. We have processed over 4 btc of buys. We are planning to add an option for selling too.
This is a tutorial made by a community member on using sfrpay successfully.  Please check it out.

Dev, you seem to be very active and dedicated. Do you think you could check into the "Paypal Loading" Problem.

I've just tried on my computer at home with a brand new wallet and another paypal account... I have the same loading problem and I don't know what is up with the transaction.

It seems to be a problem with your setup, please consider fixing this, it's not the best 1st experience for a customer.

We apologise for that. As you can see the link in ur browser, it is a problem with Paypal. Others also encountered this but they were able to get around it by refreshing the page 2-3 times. It normally takes about 3 mins to load.
I don't know why Paypal has this problem. Maybe it is because the merchant account setup is in India. So their severs for handling Indian merchant account maybe slow because not many in India use Paypal.
That is the only reason I can think of. After a few tries, it does go through.

Sorry for that but that is not in our hands. But in a few days, I will have a chat with Unocoin, who are suggesting an alternative way for Paypal.

Hopefully that could make the sfrpay service better.

PeerMarket Update

The market is in stage of Opcode creation which would make the code identify when the a new order has to be created, bought or updated. There are some issues decoding the transaction. We are working on that.

For those new to this thread, PeerMarket will be integrating our coin recycler so u can pay for a product on the PeerMarket not just with SFR but also DOGE, MYR and RDD. If u have these coins somewhere and not using them, you can now make use of them by buying a product on the PeerMarket using that altcoin. Some developers and the community of other coins have requested to add their coin to our recycler so those coins can indirectly be used as a payment option on the PeerMarket.
We will be reviewing coins before we add them. At present, we personally like PINK, we feel it is a great coin and undervalued just like us. We may just consider adding them before the final release. There are some coins that we would like to become allies with and work on some great future projects.

I will be trying to meet Unocoin to discuss on their idea on improving SFRPay and letting us use their merchant gateway. If they are not much busy today, i would go and meet them otherwise i would do it by the weekend.

We bought on the market and will probably buy more, the wallet is very nice, maybe the PayPal bug is because of his browser or something.

Very nice chart by the way, I could see 5000 very quickly

I have checked the spam and the mail reception and we got nothing.

But now he tells me there seems to have a problem with PayPal, we have tried again and the page is stucked to the loading.

Yea Paypal does take some time to load sometimes. Maybe It has to do with the merchant location. Those that had this problem, refreshed the page 2-3 times and then it got through.
I just noticed that the payment hasn't been made. Nothing from paypal. Once the payment is successful, the mail will reach you.

When someone is buying SaffronCoin with PayPal, is the "dev" buying on the market or he is selling SaffronCoin from a stash he already bought?

And I paid for 100 SaffronCoin to do a test, he went through PayPal, everything went fine but now we are not receiving any email to redeem the coin? How does it work?

Hi Brooke,
Please check your spam folder for the mail.
We have APIs running that buy it from the exchange with highest volume. There is a stash too incase either btc or sfr runs out which is later refilled and bought by us manually with fiat.

Unocoin update

Hey guys,
I just got off the phone with Unocoin's founder - Sathvik. Most of u might know that Unocoin was funded by Barry Silbert for $250k.
This is the coindesk article - http://www.coindesk.com/indias-unocoin-closes-250k-funding-deal-silbert-investment-fund/

Our team will be working with Unocoin for a Press Release in India on some of India's leading newspapers. This could be the first step for us going mainstream.
Unocoin and us would be working together for some future developments too. They have taken a keen interest in SaffronCoin and would also collaborate with us for the exchange - cryptoxindia.com. They would also mention about us on their website. They say they need our coin to be more stable and grow a bit more for them to add us on their exchange but that is on their card as well.
They have also proposed a way for buying SFR with fiat other than paypal. They said they would work with us on that development. Will be meeting them in a few days regarding it.
The first step is media recognition. They just need the technical bit of the coin and they would handle everything.

I guess this is great step moving forward becoming mainstream. Will keep u guys posted regarding this!

Cheers,

Roshan

@Brookefinancial. Im sure the devs and other members will elaborate more soon, but just to give a you quick recap...

-The above quote..SFR is currently in the midst of building a partenership with UNOCoin, Indias largest BTC exchange, to build and expand crypto in India.
-SFR is also currently working on a decentralize Market (PeerMarket) which is due to be release in beta very soon.
-They will also be working on Decentralized Email (Project Orion), and decentralized escrow and exchange (SFR Direct). And they are also in the midst of developing their own exchange (cryptoxindia.com) that will feature alt trading with a host of fiat trading pairs.
