yes, the wallet and daemon already support tor, have a look at this command line options:

-tor= Use proxy to reach tor hidden services (default: same as -proxy)
or
-proxy= Connect through socks proxy

we usually use the proxy command line.

regarding bitcoinj (and thus mediterraneancoinj), it looks like a "Tor-by-default" modification to the code,
bitcoinj already supports proxy, socks (and thus tor), see here:

they want to integrate a tor java library (called Orchid) inside bitcoinj, so to have an all-in-one lib.

thus, we have already tor support Wink

hi all,
there are several aspects on which we are working in the background, in brief:

- marketing/social media/website: we are organizing a new team (made from a mix on internals and external peple) to work on these aspects and promote MED
- website: we have to redesign it and keep the content "fresh"
- facebook, twitter: the same for the website

- ecommerce: we have been talking with www.coinpayments.net but unluckily they are shutting down; so we are working on this on evaluating other partners/projects, infact we have a couple of companies who want to start selling online using MED so this is becoming important

- exchanges: we want to increase the number of exchanges, with exchanges supporting a trading API if possible for automatic trading development (so: cryptsy?)

- cgminer and bfgminer have been recently updated to the latest branches
- working on potential malleability issues by following bitcoin and litecoin developments
- we would like to implement smart contracts, so we are performing evaluation on that

- we need to have support of PoW HybridScryptHash256 in javascript, so we will port https://github.com/bitcoinjs/bitcoinjs-lib to MED; having that, we can port several interesting javascript projects
- the bitcoinj port (mediterraneancoinj) works but has some bugs to fix, this is a library necessary for the android app.
regarding the android app, we will integrate a trading API (when we get on an exchange with trading API), and maybe an integrated automatic trading system... we'll see

and we are open to suggestions, we receive a lot from the community, thanx!!! Cheesy

we think that MediterraneanCoin has a potential marketcap of 50.000 BTC, no joke; success has to be build in small steps... Wink

New bfgminer seems to hashing faster with all my block erupters. From ~275 MH/s to average ~325MH/s. Hard to tell if the pool is reporting a faster hash rate. No effect on BFG 60 GH/s

The new bfgminer almost Doubled my hashrate and 0 HW errors. Great job guys!!! Wink

After 12 hours the new bfgminer is still ticking along with out any problems and still no HW errors. The biggest improvement is not so much a higher Hashrate (these are only slightly improved) but the +40% HW errors are completely gone. That alone increased my effective Hashrate by 40%. I dont know what code you changed in the Mod., but it worked.
