I have put up a new super-node for syncing as the first one is currently syncing over 100 connections.
before syncing remove addr.dat
make sure you have the following in the confi file :
bantime=1
banscore=11111111
connect=148.251.246.49
remove the connect= flag once fully synced

Its working not because of the new wallet but because of my node at connect=148.251.7.102 which was configured to overcome some wallet bugs (bantime/banscore, latency,etc.)
If you want a fast sync only add connect= without addnodes. once fully synced remove the connect and add normal addnodes

I have tried to sync, but still stuck at 15157.
If you can share, it would be best so forum member can just download the block chain to be in the right fork.

I downloaded new wallet, deleted all except wallet.dat, added nodes from OP, and it stops at 10639.
I'm having the same issue. Stuck at 10652.
have to correct me after it synced full, now it stucks again. god damit. block 15795

If you have any more sync issues, you should get in touch with the vericoin dev. They overcame quite a bit of sync problems.
You SHOULD get in touch with a dev to help...don't let this coin die.
