POOL STATS
slimcoin   dcrypt   56   355636   24917   101   8   0   89   531.54 KH

89 Orphaned ? wallet synced ? for better connection to the network change the net.cpp (8 connections to 100) and recompile. Also add maxconnections to slimcoinf.conf. Wallet is buggy and is known to get stuck on a block, maybe set a cron job to restart it every one hour ?

Wallet has 64 connections ATM. I've just installed ramdisk which will speed up things quite a bit, it was taking 5-30 seconds for each rpc command to return, that is on a SSD.

64 connections is nothing, i was about to connect another 70 on top of current 25 already connected. Let me know when its 'safe' to do so

Does the coin is to burn more quickly dug new coins?
I don't understand why to burning coins?
Who can explain it to me? Huh Huh Huh

You get more coins from burning than you do from PoW mining.
The point is to reduce dependence on PoW.

I'm worried that at least initially this is just a big botnet fest.
I've mined on several machines for half a week and only found 2 blocks so far.
Might be time to try the pools.

MartinF already made one that works. Opportunity for you to learn something Wink
Oh so you hadn't tried that one before, even though it was listed, and asked for one that would work anyway? That's weird Wink

Pool is up - http://63.141.232.170 (stratum+tcp://63.141.232.170:3333)
I am working on setting up the domain name, slimcoinpool.com
Make sure that you have compiled from the latest commit, or you will get low difficulty rejects.
Shares from the temp pool are carried over, the stats are not displayed until you start mining however.
Payments are automatically processed every minute, it may take a long time to receive block reward because it needs a high number of confirmations.

something wrong?
total 94 block ,but 89 block is Orphaned
Pool   Algo   Workers   Valid Shares   Invalid Shares   Total Blocks   Pending   Confirmed   Orphaned   Hashrate
slimcoin   dcrypt   47   258972   23310            94                  4        0                    89   373.22 KH

Pool OP has said that we were in the wrong fork a few hours ago so that why we found so much blocks in a short period of time (diif is super low).
Now we are in the right fork so hopefully we will get payout soon.

there will be no quik payout since we need to wait 520 Confirm until the Block mature...

could you please upload .exe for win?

Here it is: http://www37.zippyshare.com/v/42180814/file.html

Remember to create a .bat file with the pool address and your wallet address.

Thanks Smiley

We need miner for windows that will work intel CPU
Which one? There's so many - and there's 2 builds for them already Wink

Probably best to compile your own: Follow the instructions given by BitcoinFX - installing cygwin and getting it up and running only takes a few minutes.

hmmmm, neither this version or the version i built myself run on my athlon II well they run but i get

>stratum detected new block
>press any key to exit

any ideas? i run it with a bat file with no switches ie:

minerd -o stratum+tcp://63.141.232.170:3333 -u -p x

pause

both run fine on my i5  Huh
Maybe it needs AVX instructions.
Didn't run on my Phenom too.
