I wonder which timezone slimcoin dev is at, he is usually online 1 hour from now, around midnight CET. Hope he has good news for us today, hopefully a re-launch!! Smiley

I'm wondering whether to leave a couple of machines mining over the weekend, when I won't have access to them..

What's the point, the blockchain get's turned back soon.  Huh

Well, if it does then they'll be mining from the start won't they?

No

To release a new wallet to solve the problem?

Hopefully the fork problem can be solved, I think it is the biggest problem until now.

Look forward to the relaunch, please specify the time one or two days before the relaunch, so community members can be prepared.

Proof-of-burn sounds like a very interesting idea. Are there any other coins using PoB?

I have seen some real developer incompetence at another thread (Shinycoin) , slim dev no longer 'feels' like a lost case Smiley

I hope re-launch happens soon, got nothing to mine with my cpus...

Haha... Smiley

I have the nodes set up and running. I will set a tentative date of the relaunch for this Saturday at the latest.

Looking forward to it.

Are these statements true?

If/when there's a relaunch, we keep the coins we had prior to the block where it's getting forked.
We keep the same wallet address (though no doubt a wallet upgrade will be required).

Both true.
If you sent coins after the fork, anyone can grab the transaction from the old blockchain and broadcast it to the new network though. (They can't change the recipient however.)
If you want to "reverse" transactions made on the old blockchain after the fork, you should send all your coins to a new address as soon as the new network is up.

I was considering installing VNC on them.

I probably won't have the time at the weekend to do anything anyway but maybe I'll have a look at teamviewer just in case I do.
