We have thought up a solution for funding the exchange listings. We are calling it the exchange initiative sale. First the community will select a bitcointalk member that is trusted to serve as the middleman. We will transfer a specified number of Sojourn coins to this person. He will sell coins until we reach .2 BTC, then the middleman will pay to list us on nova exchange and yobit (we will still have to vote for nova but I don't think that will take long). Obviously if we want to list on more exchanges that would be an additional cost, but we think nova and yobit are a good start.  We will not be handling the BTC and we think it is better this way for everyone, and it just looks better for the project in general. This removes the risk of mishandling of BTC. If anyone has recommendations for this please let us know.

Better skip yobit and save that 0.1. Nova is fine for now.
Yobit will just facilitate a p&d of the coin.

why , is yobit that bad??? , i know with some shitcoins yobit are the blame but , if its a good coin nothing wrong with yobit !!!

and with yobit can you begin with trade while you can search for other exchange
Yobit is bad for many reasons like 0 support for customers , it's literally cases where they don't answer support tickets for months , they have problems with many of their wallets , they fail to update them , probably for many coins they just don't care ,  it's renowned for it's pump and dump system , I prefer to wait longer to have it listed instead to see it on this crap of an exchange yobit. There are many other options for decent starting exchanges like nova , livecoin , cryptopia , coinexchange
As of right now, cryptopia wants just over 1 btc to list there. Coinexchange wants .5 BTC. Nova exchange will work at .1 BTC and some voting, but there seems to be a massive backlog of coins that are sitting in the addcoin section with 250 votes already. We are waiting to start voting on tradesatoshi, and yobit requires a flat .1 BTC and no voting. Exchange listing costs are far more than I expected but we will work through it.

Yobit is BIG NO ! Novaexchange is real good ...
If you leave Bounty for Voting it would be faster to get listed on Nova...

http://imgur.com/TXmoaY1  This provides a brief explanation of the Sojourn booking process as we envision it. Note that is does not cover the Sojourn rewards or fee structure, as that will be a separate image (coming soon).

Ok so where does the native coin get it's usefulness from if I can pay with any other crypto?
You will receive Sojourn with each use of the booking service ( like conventional hotel points) and can also use sojourn to pay for booking.

Livecasino, 20% cashback, no fuss payouts.
I tried disabling my virus and even firewall, and still wallet will not work for me... I guess I will just have to wait until an exchange lists Sojourn before I can get an address. Probably miss out on the airdrop after all. Strange for me, as I have a lot of wallets that work.
Hmmm, you aren't alone here. It works for most people but there are a few it won't run for... It is the windows exe correct?

Yes, it is the windows exe. I tried deleting everything, redownloading everything and trying to reinstall. I can run the exe file, but it seems to run for a few seconds, but then nothing else happens. I don't have any blockers running when I try, and other qt wallets work fine.

Very good plan. I think it's the way to go. Nova and yobit are good to start even some people don't like them much.

Wont suggest yobit .... Its the worst Exchange
Nova will be the best option for the start

Yes, we will have some details on that later this week. But first I owe you all a road map of how we envision this working.

Is there a roadmap in the works? Regarding mining, is there pools ready? If no pools yet, better pay a bit of bounty to set few pools (cause there are good scrypt asics and diff can be really high!).
We have 2 pools available and are seeking out a 3rd. Roadmap is in the works and will explain the coins integration with the service we aim to provide.
