Hmm, when opening the KYC registration on their website, it's pre-filled with the United States as a country and I didn't find an announcement that US citizens are not allowed to participate so far. Maybe one of the team could give us here a definite answer.

If you are a citizen or resident of a country, whose legislation conflicts with obtaining or distributing cryptographic tokens such as SPHTX, then you cannot participate in our TGE.
The list of countries is taken from a database with all countries - therefore there is also the United States. I agree it is quite unfortunate that it is pre-filled in the form. And we are working on a correction.

Thanks for your honest answer. The potential to curb expensive medicine prices is limited. But still, the global drug counterfeit market is $70 to $200 billion while the worldwide pharmaceutical market is $1000 to $1300 billion. If SophiaTX can successfully combat the counterfeit market, that could shave off a few percentages from the price.

SophiaTX has some of the best real world uses cases I have seen for an ICO in a few months. I'm very excited for this project, cant wait to see how it does!
