Wasn't it already confirmed by an Ethereum dev that "CryptoKitties is definitely a significant contributor to network congestion, and it may have been what pushed us over the edge from mostly-full blocks to full blocks in the last day or so."

I know you can't fully blame this game for everything but it definitely played an important role. Nevertheless, scaling solutions are necessary, this game just speeded everything up.

Yeah, I also think it was a good idea. And it's not like they postponed it for a month or so. These 48 hours were reasonable and after that time everyone should be ready for the TGE. That should be enough time to buy yourself some DCT for everyone who thinks the ETH network will still be under heavy load on Thursday. If you still want to invest with ETH you will probably have to swallow the pill and increase the gas price a lot.

Something tells me that nothing will change (with each hour getting worse and worse.It is worth thinking about other payment options, II think that even a high price for gas will not help at this stage.

We are not going to postpone our TGE on Thursday even if the Ethereum network's problems will continue.
