Depends what you consider as expensive. For example we don't have 25'000 USD ships like star citizen (yet Tongue )

The are also in beta and their product cost much more. The game has not the same scale of course. But using the blockchain uses true ownership meaning comparing to other product things are limited, verifiable and transferable. So 1100 BCY for an item that has a limit of 300 units I think it's not that expensive I guess.
To compare some card in Moonga (our previous game) are sold on the black market for about 1000$ a piece.

That's a very interesting partnership, I see FOW have their own cards too, maybe in the future they can have blockchain-based cards via SoG?

I do some more analysis on Poloniex.

Added a column whit the total bcy's ask on Poloniex, and the ratio (in %) of the bcy's ask and the total bcy on Poloniex. I will refresh data at least once a week.
