This all is only working if you copied the ADL-Header files from your ADL-Download into sgminer/ADL_SDK (Build-Directory).

then in your build-directory run:

autoreconf -fvi
./configure CFLAGS="-O2 -Wall -march=native"
make

that's it.

Yes, you are right. It sounds like inductors noise, whining, and it's only with this algo. And it doesn't sound good for our HW Wink

Hey guys,

I just started mining Darkcoin and everything is fine. Significantly lower temps + power consumption

As my R290s are watercooled, the system is totaly noiseless. But by mining X11 I hear my GPUs "scratching" permanently. Normally, at scrypt, I sometimes hear this only for a short time at startup but never during the mining process.

Can someone confirm this? Is this something I should care about regarding the health of my cards? Would be nice to get rid of this (annoying) sound as I run the rig in my office Wink

i normaly writed these in cmd.. and it saved values but it somehow dont work now.. ?! GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT=100 is ok but
GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS=1 is not ..:-/

edit : i just realized there was something like setgfx before GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS=1 cant remember i will check that and post it here if noone finds it first

ah lol you're doing a beginners mistake, you have to set the environment variables before you start the miners, otherwise you only get HW Errors.

do:

export GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT=100
export GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS=1

BEFORE you start ./sgminer ....

pls is there any solution for "awainting for work from pools" or somthing like that the message says but on every pool i try on -groestl -groestl-myr and -qubit ?? i tryied multiple pools and algo... cg miner, bfg miner works for me i know how to set up pool...

And if there is --auto-fan on the command line - program says unknown option and won't start

As I see it - sometime between 26-03 and 30-03, the groestl algo was broken, all forks after this moment share same bug
Tried myriad-groestl - this time there IS info on screen - "rejected: share is below target"

I currently got no win system for testing, which error do you get ?

no errors, it works and works, but the only new lines on screen are about startum detected new block/difficulty changed, etc.
No accepted share, no number after A: increasing
5min run - no accepted shares, site also says this worker is idle...
