You're hoping to get a refund from one pre-order queue so you can join another one?

an average of 1.35 in quiet, 1.45 in normal, 1.55 in turbo. Th/s of course !

The 3 miner are working perfectly. The bottom become very hot, very fast, so to put down the temp i space them.
In air temp : 23°C
Out air temp : 45°C (46°C if I don't space them a little).
The noise of the PSU is the main root of noise in quiet/normal.

Very very nice work Spondoolies-Tech !

It wouldn't be too much if I highly recommend those guyz. Respect the shipping delay, respect the customer with true specs, listening if you have any problem.

On this good words, i'm gonna finish my miniDC so I can post pics soon Smiley

Thanks again SP-T Smiley Smiley Smiley

Looking forward to my trip over to them tomorrow. Will take plenty of pics, and Ill post what they will let me Tongue

I see you abandoned the folks in the black arrow forum to and are posting here ? there are lots of folks like me who ordered X1's who want feedback from BA
(no i did not order through minersource, I ordered directly through the BA site).

I think its funny you have jumped on to start reselling a new product before refunding folks who are done with with lack of information from BA and Minersource.

This.
minersource credit card; anyone?
If I were looking for a reseller, i'd make damned sure all payment for equipment would be done using direct wire x-fer.

on a lighter note, yet still on the topic... I would like to say thank you to whomsoever has purchased from SP-Tech using my affiliate link. This was greatly appreciated to see in my affiliate panel today. So glad I bought from spondoolies-tech to allow me to be (in-a-way) a legitimate reseller. I'm happy with a small %age, and as a result - spread the hashpower, even a little, means a lot.

This sounds awesome, but what about the security risk of centralizing the configuration of so many miners in a public cloud?

We place heavy emphasis on the security, both during design and development of system. Without getting into too much details, the configuration data will not be in the public cloud, just the UI itself.

We also will consider performing an external audit of the system with one of BTC community experts.

ST, do you imagine a time in the future where you ship only from stock?

It sounds as if you have built a solid product, but the whole pre-order process ads an enormous amount of additional speculation to an already highly speculative investment.

Thank you for your compliment.
We build, test and ship as fast as we can.
You need to consider lead times. It was discussed last time here:

We are now working on a full-fledged cloud control panel, which will allow creating accounts and linking them with your miners wherever they are, allowing to solve this exact issue.
More details to follow soon.

For the ST guys...

How does the start.ST.com site work when your miners are hosted remotely (in a DC for example).

Would you need to use a VPN so you pull an IP on the same LAN subnet?

now, even the fan are working at their lowest level I would need to extract at least 170m3/h per SP10. Give then fact that this unit has 80-90% efficiency it would mean that I have to extract at least 150m3/h per SP10 and lets say 300m3/h for SP30. I need to extract 450m3/H * 3 batch = 1350 m3/h !!!!!
The room is only 10m3, it mean that i will need renew the air of the room more than twice a minute to keep the temp inside same as outside the room.
This is ridiculous.... Roll Eyes
I use one of these http://www.tlc-direct.co.uk/Products/SLTD500SILENT.html silenced 6" duct fan to shift 500m3/h.
You could try using 3. They only draw 50W running flat-out.
They make them in a 8" version too. You might get away with using just two of those.
Good Luck !

If I'm way off in assuming last 6 month difficulty growth into the next 6 months, then I welcome criticism. I want to invest in mining hardware as well but I need to know I'm not chasing unrealistic profits.

You are way off. There was a huge spike in difficulty during the last six months which is no longer occurring, and is unlikely to occur again. (Though anything is possible.)

Historically bitcoin mining has never repeated itself or been predictable.

I think it will be much less than 20% increase per change simply due to the fact that there seems to be much less competition for gen 3 asics (<0.5w/gh) but I could be wrong.

Your assumptions in the spreadsheet suggest that in 4 months,  manufacturers will be able to pump out enough hardware to replicate the entire current(as of today) bitcoin network every 2 weeks.  I don't see any technology changes that will allow for that much hashpower to be produced.  If you disagree,  you should run away from EVERY ASIC manufacturer out there.

Defenders of Spondollies: Difficulty and the profitability of the machine certainly does have a place in this thread.  I think asking "is this a good buy?"  has been relevant in most other threads.  This guy may be a troll,  but I'd rather not go on a witch hunt for every person who is questioning if the growth of the hashrate makes pre-orders unprofitable.

I'm not a troll, I just want to know there's a decent chance of me at least breaking even.
My 19% difficulty estimate was based on the last 6 month average difficulty increase. That's lower than last year, which is 23%.

you got it wrong,it's 10m3 volume, even better Grin

Now that just seems like unnecessary tech-cruelty.

I vote for a more freerange keeping of your spondoolies units.

After all, the quality of your minted bitcoins will suffer when the fans cant turn freely in cool air, as they wish.

Raskul has a good approach there.

i'm gonna buy an extractor running @ 1000m3/H. If it's not enough air flow, i will add an AC so the temperature inside the room which may not be other 25°C. I'm gonna get 3x SP10 tomorrow so i'll update with real number cause all I do here is speculation. It's bad.
