You do realized your rudeness just cost sprouts all of their trading pairs on Cryptopia.

Welcome to Fantasy Island.

Just a thought, ask them what value they have assigned to reservebalance.

Mmm. Looks like Cryptopia's wallet is staking: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.18471814

So yes, numpties.

I expect that if they set reservebalance=10000000 in the config or even set -reservebalance=10000000 on the command line, their client will remain stable.

But, given their unhelpful response to a legit customer enquiry, I don't hold out much hope that any of the Cryptopia staff are motivated to do anything helpful.

At present, this is an educated guess - if someone with SPRTS deposited on Cryptopia can confirm that the coins have recently staked at their Crytopia deposit address, that would dispel the uncertainty (there's an explorer URL quoted a couple of posts after the one I've referenced above).

My dear, this is my Sprouts deposit address of Cryptopia:
Sbh9JuBpuEBKMLbU5XCJwyx2iFrF1c4iEZ
https://chainz.cryptoid.info/sprts/address.dws?Sbh9JuBpuEBKMLbU5XCJwyx2iFrF1c4iEZ.htm

You will see at blockchain that the address is staking everyday.

We seem to have an answer. The problem that Cryptopia is experiencing with the Sprouts client is localised to them and is due to their own ineptitude in failing to configure the client's operation for use on an exchange.

Cheers

Someone needs to help cryptopia fix the sprouts wallet. They are most likely going to "delist" it after they fix the wallet issue. copy and paste below to my ticket there.

we only have an issue with sprts wallet constantly crashing (30-40 times a day)

Perhaps you might be able to persuade these apparent numpties that they are experiencing an issue unique to them and to include the output from the debug log? Client version and host platform architecture are also sort of vaguely useful for remote diagnosis of locality-specific issues.

Is anyone else's installation of the Sprouts client also crashing 30-40 times a day or is it just an issue for Cryptopia?

Just a thought, ask them what value they have assigned to reservebalance.

Cheers

Graham

Edit: added reservebalance suggestion

Numpties, lol

Ok, that just sealed the deal

My dear, I am using Sprouts Client in my PC since 31st October, 2015.
But, I can't remember that my Sprouts wallet ever crashed.

Why Cryptopia is facing this issue?  Roll Eyes

Bittrex is fucked as a loyalty platform.

They continuously cull and took the volume or die stance.

Which is fine if you are Polo, but even Polo seldom kills a listing.

Which means Bittrex has developed no coin that can't be picked off by Polo, because volume.
Or picked off by more loyal listed slots like Cryptopia or others that are coming up.

Lesson is both Bittrex and Polo are hot shots, nice to be listed there, but projects like NXT or even ETC could be delisted someday.

It is better to take volume trade to 'community' oriented exchanges.

i think in maybe 8-10 days  grand opening Tongue
maybe after that we try to bring it on  bittrex exchange again...

Please don't ask Bittrex to add Sprouts. Because, he is the main culprit for the decline in the price of Sprouts.
I think we should try to find some other sites and I think many members of this community will agree with me.

Exchanges dont ruin coins, dumpers do.

Tell that to truckcoin that just lost 80% of its value on cryptopia because of idiot Bittrex. Exchanges that treat coins badly spread and create panic/fud that does actually cause people to "dump" coins due to fear.

bittrex has been very tough on alts. i was hospitalized for a few months and development of my currency ground to a halt, interest waned and my currency was delisted. when i got out of the hospital and back to work on my project, julian.. the one in charge of listing coins.... has made things as long and slow and difficult as possible to get my currency relisted. a lot of currency developers are complaining about 'trex. the sad thing is, without people developing new currencies to list, they have no marketable goods to make money thru fees from. by treating developers as supplicants kneeling before the king, theyre creating a lot of animosity betweenthe community of developers and themselves. poswallet, which has been one of the more volumnious currencies lately, is still having a problem getting listed at bittrex, so its not just smaller currencies. for some reason, the admins at bittrex have a very high sense of their own importance. ive stopped trading there whatsoever. a drop in their bucket maybe, but if more people stopped trading there, they might actually start listening to developers more and stop thinking theyre the gods of crypto.

The most important detail when pos-mining on raspberry - flash drive should be the 4th class! If the class of the flash drive is higher then during the mining, the wallet files become read-only and the wallet is turned off
