Anyone else had problems transferring coins to Poloniex the last few days? I tried to move 9640 SJCX from Counterwallet to Poloniex on Thursday 11th Dec 14, nothing happened for a few hours so I created a ticket with them at 4pm GMT that day - over four days later (Monday 15th Dec) I've got hardly any response other than 'we have a technical difficulty with SJCX'. No real apology or urgency or timeline on a 'fix'. Or maybe the whole thing is a 'fix'??

Do you trust sending your coins there? Are you having issues? I wanted to sell out at 1.5 BTC while the going was good, now it's under 1 BTC and still no sign of my coins arriving in my Poloniex account. Just stuck in Escrow with no revert or send back options and I've lost half a BTC while I sit waiting in disbelief.

Any news?

We have perform a second DriveShare load test, this time with 502 Farmers, all seem to work well.
A few more tests and some tuning and we should be on our way to the beta launch for Test group A.
Not long to go!

502 Farmers means 502 people or 502 computers/HDs?

It means 502 SJCX addresses farming, for load testing we are simulating the load as we don't have 500 people to test with yet.
The test is equivalent as having 500 different HDs/people as each address farms separately.

Any good news? I sold at 4700-4800 sat now is 5300 sat Cry

Hope I can buy back
you are lucky man,
I sold at 3500 sat, at the IPO price, so regret.
Yeah we just hit an all time high of 7448 sat. Even I regret, so don't feel bad.

You also sold some? BTW, it is going down now. I hope I have chance to buy back

I bought the ICO because decentralized storage is a cool idea. That concept will be the way everyone stores almost everything. There are many other cloud storage things coming out though. I wish I could have only bought storJ but it looks like I'm going to have to buy 100 other tokens/coins to make sure I don't miss out on decentralized storage.

IMO storJ is looking like the best so far. I see storJ being like the enterprise grade level storage engine with many different cheap storJ forks for the average person.

The one thing I hate about storj.io is that it started at a pretty massive marketcap for the coins. The initial ICO gave the coin a $4 million marketcap. From an investment point of view, if you could get in early on a storJ fork at a $5,000 marketcap then that will probably pay off with higher returns.

7450 was alot higher than i expected to see. Nice to see that level of support however. Looking forward to future developments.

How to setup hdd farming vith multiple hdds?
Should hdd be in raid mode, or single hdds?
If raid, would a server with storage arrays of hdds be the best way to go?
Interested in seting up rigs with as many hdds as possible.
Thnx in advance  Cool

You will be able to run multiple DriveShare instances to select multiple paths.
We are gearing up for the beta launch and we want to have something easy to use that works.
Give it some time after that and we should be able to allow for multiple paths within the GUI.

I am personally a fan of RAID 5, although you may lose some storage for redundancy, I rather have it running than lose data and have to download all the shards again.
But if you want to maximise your storage then single drives or Striped RAID may be the way to go.

Also remember that reliability and availability of your node together with download/upload bandwidth play a big role in farming for Storj.
