All launch-related things are cleared and finished. wallets (RC) are now being tested the last time before launch. PoS algo and retarget have been optimized during the last months. We, the STOX-team, have put a lot of effort into this project and its realization to make it a technical as well as a economic success. I am using the last weeks before launch to prepare PR and marketing related organizations/materials and a detailed press statement. Thanks to all supporters and interested users. Special thanks to HABO (hackerboard) and Marko Widmer for providing a highend-infrastructure to enable network-related experiments and tests.

hi choochimil. we have made updates twice a month, from the first day we registered this account. as a matter of fact: the post of 8th dec. was updated twice a month. no new posts have been made as the thread was locked. last update was from end of february... I ve answered all PMs (as the thread was locked). About 30 e-mails were answered separately. And i ve replied to every single message in IRC as well...

We prefer to spend our time with REAL work and creating a REAL and solid base for this project.    unlike the majority of this alt-coin scene and their so called "DEVs" we make a public post when there is something fullfilled or a milestone reached. Lets put it like that: we spend more time thinking than typing and hyping. i am sure you know what i mean...

Yes we are holding a small ICO. ESCROW accepted and even prefered. PoD 5+ rating available (notary verification + video verification and proof of identity with officially issued government certificate).


thank you zen2, thats the reason for our participation in the PoD process and also getting a 5+ rating. I have longterm experience in the field of software development (especially network and security related projects) and know that you simply CAN NOT invest into a project you don't know who you are working with. So in my eyes, this is the pre-requirement for a sucessfull cryptocurrency project with tech- and coding-dependcies.



regarding the PoW:
First of all i would like to announce that we are going to make a provably FAIR-LAUNCH. This means that we will have a PoW-timeframe of 6h with each block ONLY CONTAINING 1 STOX.
PoW is planned to last a few weeks, maybe up to 1 month, and the first week generating the most coins. We will use a simple and effective block-reward scheme with an efficient retargeting algorithm.
PoW-algorithm is going to be scrypt. (LTC-fork with the extended features mentioned in our last post)

regarding the ICO:
It's going to be a small ICO generating 73.2 BTC. 66% of the total coin-capitalization are going to be sold in the ICO. So its simple math: This scheme ensures a fast and profitable RoI for every STOX-investor.

specs conclusion:
Each STOX has an initial value of 0.00003050 BTC
the total coincapital contains 3.6 mio STOX [100%]
the ICO capital contains 2.4 mio STOX [66.666%]
POW-capital = 1.2 mio STOX [33.333%]

Our tresor-network left alpha-stage. We made a lot of tests the last months and recoded some parts of the framework. Our "master"-node also integrates a DNS-seed which discovers peers automatically and broadcasts them to the network and all other clients. Next milestone is setting up a dedicated communitcation platform for development and experimenting inside the stox-network, we name it StoxLab. The team decided to launch STOX on 27th SEPTEMBER 2015. Our RC-wallet is containing Blockexplorer, Marketoverview, Staking-information and StoxSend (Stealth payment system which is an implementation of a Diffie-Hellman key exchange system.) at launch. the networksetup for tresorNET is being finalised. wallets will be released in the new year (Q2 2015) after
further testing and development. We have new unique user interface as well as extended network and p2p coin-mixing service.

Is half stopped here.
How is the currency project?

This is planned to be pure PoS but we are going to buy 5-10% of the initial marketcap for distribution within the community(bounties,..).

I don't see anything bad with this offer. Coins are cheap and its not way over the top like the post above said. I'm watching to see if anymore development happens before it releases.

This ico is actually at a pretty good buy cost. these coins are cheaper than mining cost at 20 dif or more. It far less than some of these insane priced ICO's I seen lately. I'm gonna buy some. Looks promising.

and i want to post some words about PoD:
 in my opinion it s depending on the ratinglevel. Notarized documents are the highest
possible security for a rating. It simply not possible to fake it because it s officialy registered with a legal authentications number.
This means it s easily verifiable (1 fax/call) if it s faked or not.
