A sample masternode.conf is there but there is also a masternode setup script on the gidhub site you can run as well.

the port is going to be whatever you set the port to in your conf file. Also for cpuminer, the avx2 part is also going to be different depending on what CPU you have

If you try solo mining and get success then share what miss in this guide.

Potentially but right now the pandemic has hamstrung travel which is what is needed to build more partnerships for the use cases. Since that is the case we are just allowing the network to continue to run and grow since it is still young.
