I knew about masternodes but didn't know about that website! It's very cool but unfortunally I don't have 50,000 SWM to start a masternode
.How it will work exactly by the way? SWM will stay on the Ethereum blockchain or there's another chain for that?

Ok thanks, so I'm assuming that SWM was already coded with staking in mind because as far as I know you can't do that with a basic ERC20 token, or maybe I'm not informed well

In order to be eligible to participate in the rewards you need to have 50,000 SWM tokens in a wallet which then gets references in the configurations of the Swarm masternode.
Details on proof of stake tracking may not be available just yet. Many foundations take a 'snap-shot', by having users register the wallet address where tokens are being staked.
