If you are asking specifically for Swarm, it's because Swarm is a system that will be owned by the users. A blockchain is a shared database with no one controlling it, this way no one needs to trust anyone and everyone is secured that the system is owned and governed by all.

They host crowdfunding projects , it's not one blockchain and smart contracts' use case? Plus they will have democratized voting which in my opinion you can fully achieve only on blockhain

So now that there five funds, anyone went trough all of them? For example I still don't understand pros and cons for each funds and I don't have money to invest in all five 
That is a good point you are bringing mandibleclaw. That is why we plan to implement a feature where you set your risk profile, how much you would like to invest and how much diversity you would like and based on that, a couple of investment packages will be offered to you. Once we implement AI you could even enable a bot to make that decision for you.Another option is to follow investors that have a good track record and shadow invest with them.
