Don't know why volume is so low on this exchange, it looks good,it's fast and works fine.
Many people do not seem to realize that most exchanges, even those with high volumes are not very well protected. As long as the volume is high, people trust them and move over.
For example, we carefully followed the development of MtGox, and when looking at the reports where they explain why they failed it just seems ridiculous. We cannot believe how they could have run a multimillion/billion dollar business without internal security checks, including block mechanisms if there are discrepancies between wallet and front end balances. We aim to set new standards in this field (We as the supporters have the impression that our developers do not seem to rest unless we have a matching engine and similar security standards as a real money exchanges such as NASDAQ^^).
On the other hand we haven't done any kind of marketing yet except in a few bitcoin forums.
