Did you disable the running process from your task manager? If you close the wallet and try to run it, it does not load the GUI but the core does stay in your system tray or task manager. So, if you reinstall it but the prior process is still running from before, it is going to fail.

Sorta yes, sorta no. They won't enable the wallets on their end for sending or receiving SYS. Even though it's working elsewhere.

victorteoh won't provide an email for me to attach the screenshot he asked for. Told me to upload it to an image hosting outfit. Then jerks me around and calls me playground names.

run the wallet. go to debug console from the menu and type "importprivkey xxxxxxxxxxxxxx" (without quotes) where xxxxxxx is your privkey.

No hosted sites for me. And this place doesn't provide me any file attachment option or direct image file upload capability. So, who wants to give me their junk email address so I can send the screenshot, whoever can upload it to an image hosting joint, and they can post it here?

And it just so happens that Jay is the one who's been dicking with me for the past 2 days. The screenshot I have - has him as the support agent replying to my ticket.

MintPal has a thing where they said they would prop it with support if prices went wonky. So, by some great luck for them, "oops the wallet isn't working and we don't trust the new version, so nobody can dump here and we don't have to put up any of the coins we promised as support".

You see?

For PR reasons, I suppose. MintPal is the home exchange that's backing this - from my understanding. So, it makes sense that they don't want the price of their baby to decline steeply on there. Let the other places look bad, then open up the wallets when the price levels off.
