you folks do realize the first 8 hours (480) blocks yield nothing right?Huh

you get NO COINS for your mining efforts - it's right in the OP.

when you look at the IPO it was a great deal...

128 coins per block and 1 block per minute = 184,320 coins per day.

my .2 btc investment gave me 70,000 coins....

that was a good deal.

WTB SYS worth 5btc price 950 satoshis

I have a feeling you'll see the coins at much higher than this with it's block sizes - and they get reduced over time which makes it even more valuable to mine early even though there will be lots of competion. last month I mined RZR for a few days with 140 MH and was making over $10 every hour.

Has anyone here received the wallet.dat file from moolah?

I'm an investor and I have not yet - but I'm not worried - I know it'll come - I see my purchases right on the block chain

Can devs please release syscoin.conf file, so we can start solo mine one wattet is going to be released

LOL - now that's really funny...

what exactly is funny here?

I'm sure nodes will be built in and the conf only takes a minute to setup anyway.

in any event - unless you have at least 500 MH I think you're wasting your time solo mining because I have at least 2 GHS of miners poised on my pool to begin mining as soon as I can compile the wallet and 'light up' the pool.

come mine with us - I know we'll be finding blocks.

good luck
I just have bad experience with mining in pools at the start of almost any coin. There almost always some issues like wrong  wallet, chain, diff or the server is just down.

ALL I CAN SAY IS THAT THERE'S ONLY ONE WALLET - my servers have been up and running for over 2 years now, we have EUand US based stratums and my servers are DDOS protected and I have 8 other coins running on my servers...without a hitch.

I have 62 miners pre-registered and ready to mine including myself and I have 250 MH to help out. payouts every 60 seconds with payout threshholds as low as 1 coin.

best of luck
oh, so its yours pool. Ok, i will join you.

Why are people concerned with trying to solo mine if the first 8 hours will be zero rewards?  Is there any purpose to mining this at all until we are past the zero block rewards?

in essence - not really

Thanks for answering!  So really, not to waste resources we should wait to point our miners until the blocks have rewards right?  Is this set to happen at a certain block with Sys or a certain time?  How to know when is good to actually start mining?
