I think I'm blind  Huh

''PLUS the service fees''

I cannot for the life of me find how much the fees are... so I've missed paying them Doh!

Can some please embarrass me or humour me and show me where that information is please? So I can send them in a separate transaction if that's possible?

I don't know why they called it that, never heard that language before - they mean the Bitcoin transaction fee I think, so they are just saying they need to receive the full amount in case you have a wallet which deducts the transaction fee from what you are sending.

: When will I get my Syscoin? Do I get them now!?
A: Syscoin purchased via presale will be delivered when the coin launches. It is impossible to deliver it sooner. The coin launch is scheduled for August 16th but may happen sooner; plan on August 16th.

Is it still Aug 16 or likely to be delayed?

Still aug16 by all indicators. Team is working hard to maintain that date!

danosphere, anything on the smart contract query I had? or did it get buried somewhere Smiley

I do apologize but it did get buried somewhere in the pages, mind restating it for me please?

Maybe have an "early adopter" window where the fees are set lower for a limited amount of time at the start to encourage use and development at the beginning?
Here's what I heard from you last:
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/ann-syscoin-business-on-the-blockchain-launched-587080

Yet to put in money before I actually buy a piece of the initial pie.

Thanks- will reply to you later tonight, appreciate the patience and the reminder Smiley

Can we use some of the fees/funding to support the price, like Synccoin does? Building buy walls etc.

Interesting approach to the fees. As long as its not so high that people decide to just wait till later on when its cheaper I think this will be a good idea.

I bought some SYS, but have not received a confirmation in 43 hours, support @ moolah is telling me to wait a week???  Yes I did it in two transactions, but seriously, a week?

Don't worry dude, things are probably crazy @ moolah atm.

Same thing happened to me, Dano took care of it lickity split.

Make sure to give him all the info he asks for in the PM when he contacts you and all will be right as rain soon enough. Smiley

Syscoin- Changing the way people do business.
Just a heads up, I'm not too familiar with IRC lingo...but it looks like the channel is moderated (+m flag) and therefore those without a voice can't talk (get a "Cannot send to channel" error).  Or maybe I'm just doing something wrong...but I don't see anyone else really talking in there, either, so I'm thinking I'm not the only one.

Anyway, excellent work guys, keep it up! I personally am not too worried about the dev portion of the premine, especially since the plan seems to be to make the team's addresses public. These guys are in it for the long haul.

I would hope it's moderated. This is cryptos, and lots of immature kids running around spreading FUD and spam. If it's fud i really, really hope for our sake of investment that this thread is moderated, and spam/FUD is deleted here too.

Nothing can kill a good investment faster than the trolls coming on here once things pick up and FUDDING. Its ruined good coins before. Investors run away. Look at blackcoins old thread and tell me you'd invest in that coin reading that stuff?

Don't get me wrong, if it's constructive criticism, or real disagreements or concerns, thats not FUD. If presented in a way that is not trolling or FUD or being a clever troll, voices should not be moderated. But for sake of all of us invested is surely hope IRC and bitcointalk thread all purposeful FUD or immature stuff is deleted.

Please consider this development so that this coin reaches it's full potential. It's nice to think we can all play nicely in sandbox but there are group of people out there that attach threads just to drive prices down when a coin is hot. So in perfect world no moderation is ideal, but that's not how cryptos work.

We are always watching for FUD but really try to address it directly rather than delete it. Sometimes we are forced to delete things because people use crazy formatting but we do our best to keep the question/FUD, remove the crazy formatting, and then directly address the FUD to stop it. We've found deleting items silently is not the best (nor the most transparent) way to go about dealing with people who spread FUD.

Now in IRC this will be a different type of thing to deal with since its chat and not a forum. That being said I have removed moderation from IRC for the time being. People who had issues before should be all good now Smiley If it becomes a problem it looks like I can re-instate moderation + assign auto-voice to everyone; voice will be removed form people spreading FUD for the sake of FUD if such users appear on the channel (per my understanding of IRC moderation this is how it and "voice" work without full-out banning a user from a channel).

I didn't read entire OP
but, what are you going to do with the coins which are not sold at the pre-sale ?

You should read it, that's why we took the time to write it  Smiley this question is answered directly in the OP (in the presale FAQ to be specific).

That is wrong and I am sorry for the inconvenience. Reaching out to you via PM, will help get this resolved... not sure why they said that.  Huh

Hi

Please have a read through the OP that's a question that has been answered a few times now and it should also help clarify any further questions for you.

There is a section based on Presale questions that Dan keeps updated Smiley

Syscoin- Changing the way people do business.
Not everyone follows the thread (I know they should be).
Good idea would be to write briefly (just few points).
- what will syscoin have that other coins do not have
- what syscoin has that some of other Top coins have

Good Q:
- what will syscoin have that [almost all] other coins do not have
-- Marketplace Service
-- Certificate Issuance/Storage/Management and Transfer Services
-- Key/Value Storage Service (small data)
-- Data Storage Service (larger data, up to 250kb)
-- Universally Merge-Mineable with ANY other Scrypt PoW coin
-- All data tied to Syscoin services has provable ownership via the blockchain (aliases, data, certs and offers)
-- All Syscoin services are implemented directly on the blockchain and are visible via a block explorer. This is not an implementation on top of the blockchain, within the wallet only, or anything like that.

- what syscoin has that some of other Top coins have
-- Scrypt based PoW for extremely strong network hashrate / merge mining means wider distribution of coins
-- Innovative features beyond simple PoW/PoS modifications (NXT, Ripple, Darkcoin, Namecoin, and MaidSafeCoin which comprise 50% of the top coins go beyond PoW/PoS modifications. These coins are different than Syscoin, but pursue similarly large [or larger] innovative development initiatives)

many people are probably afraid that after syscoin is released development will stop and you will just take your profits from dev premine. dont get me wrong, i like what you did here, but this is crypto and investors probably would feel much safer if they would know that devs would get their coins some time after the launch or gradualy in several batches

All of the premine that is going to the dev team will be made public- we're publishing the wallet addresses so you can see we aren't dumping anything. There of course will be a portion of that funding that is used to pay forward moving, additional developers coming onto the team. This will not be in the dev wallets and will be in a separate wallet specifically for these types of payouts, happy to publish its address as well.

Thanks for the heads up, you are most likely right- sorry I'm admittedly an IRC noob and have been working to improve my knowledge in this regard. Let me research the MLOCK mode on the channel to get a better understanding of what the moderation flag does, and I'll remove it if unnecessary.

Anyway, excellent work guys, keep it up! I personally am not too worried about the dev portion of the premine, especially since the plan seems to be to make the team's addresses public. These guys are in it for the long haul.

Thanks very much! Doing our best to keep everyone updated! And yes we'll be making those addresses public, I can tell you follow this thread Smiley Sorry we've been really busy we are trying to get a lot of web-properties ready for the launch (amongst other things). Because Syscoin is so different we're having to make some things from scratch (for instance, the block explorer is entirely new and rewritten using NodeJS and Bootstrap). Lots of irons in the fire right now!

Maybe your nick needs to be registered? Check the irc log in the main irc client window.

Nope, my nick is registered and having the same

Although its a good idea, they are not havinga hard time
building trust so if they couldnt raise funds this is valid.
To ease your fears just note that they claimed to have the public keys on display with their syscoin and they wont be removing those coins for a while. They wont dump the pump is what im saying. There is less incentive as the need to be compensated is covered by the ipo.

Dan, can you confirm that each person on the team will have their coins on display for everyone to ease this type of issue with people? Its very valid and something investors will ask before buying on the market once it opens up.
