WARNING: I say "F*CK". A Lot.
In addition to all that:

People seem to like payment options. Everywhere you do go IRL and online, we have the choice to use various combinations of ca$h, Visa, Amex, MasterCard, Discover, Diner's Club, Bitcoin, Money Order, MoneyGram, Western Union, Paypal, Amazon Payments, Debit, ACH, Bank Wire, ad nauseum.

Personally, I don't see a problem with Syscoin being involved in some enterprise that supports multiple options which might include another coin. However, I really don't want to see Syscoin diluted by some self-serving outfit that is nothing more than a parasite.

As you say visibility is very important. I do agree there is a bit of overlap in sections, but there are however a lot of features that will compliment Syscoin.
In relation to helping/using ripple, I don't really see that as a big issue. I personally do not think crypto should be a game of us vs them in general, if there are benefits in collaborating and partnering with other services and/or companies then it would silly to not explore this.

Syscoin- Changing the way people do business.
I am a multipool operator who recently added syscoin merged mining.

I am able to find blocks but there is a problem in the wallet that makes it impossible to spend them. Rescanning or redownloading the blockchain isn't helping.

{snip}

Can you please join us in #syspools to provide us some more details? We're looking into this but need a bit more info to diagnose properly- #syspools on freenode IRC. Doing what we can to investigate just based on the tx ids but having some more info from you would be excellent.

You can confirm its a wallet bug using this process:
1. Export privkey from trouble wallet.
2. Start client with new wallet, import privkey
3. Are outputs spendable? If yes its a wallet bug we need to address.

The coins are definitely there on the chain, we're looking into this and any further info you can provide would be appreciated.

I added Syscoin to the voting page of CoinWarz.com. This is a very useful and often visited site to calculate the most profitable coin to mine. I used to use this to see which coin to mine and then point my miners that way.
Anyway, please go vote for SYSCOIN! One vote per hour! http://www.coinwarz.com/voting. Also, you can "pay" for votes. Each 0.0005 BTC received will count for 1 community vote.

Let's do this bitches! Lets get syscoin on coinwarz.com

This is great! Voting right now!  Smiley thanks for adding us

I might throw in some BTC to up the votes... If you guys think it will help the coin? It says even if it's rank 1 it won't necessarily be added to coinwarz tho....

Everything helps! Definitely appreciate the community support too!

I am a multipool operator who recently added syscoin merged mining.

I am able to find blocks but there is a problem in the wallet that makes it impossible to spend them. Rescanning or redownloading the blockchain isn't helping.

After mining, generated blocks are displayed normally but after restarting the wallet or failing to spend coins the mining transactions appear corrupted and their values are no longer counted in the balance (even though the inputs are never spent as shown by block explorers or listunspend).
This is how corrupted transactions appear in listtransactions:

Please note that I'm also merge mining DOGE with no issue, so it's most likely a wallet bug.

nice progress with website, price is fckd up (i better don't check Grin)..devs can you start a poll about joining to SuperNET? (if possible)

I don't personally know much about it, but it seems many are saying SuperNet is a big scam.

Not likely mate, good well respected people behind it. Seems everything associated with crypto-currency gets the scam moniker sooner or later deservedly or not...

I agree its not a scam at least not from the looks of it- and it is very technical. SuperNET is not a coin itself per se but a network of coins which can then leverage each other's features. The question for Syscoin is whether or not the coins that are part of this network provide enough additional value to merit Syscoin joining the network and "sharing" its features with all these other coins. We are watching the progression of the SuperNET project, and will continue to monitor as other coins join this network and re-evaluate the possibility of Syscoin joining as well. Right now its just NXT, BTCD and BBR.

Maybe I don't understand the casheer app properly but are we not just adding syscoin features to a ripple product by being part of it? Are there any benefits other than increased visibility for SYS (which is obviously important). Just wondering if it's a similar scenario to supernet where the costs and benefits of joining are being carefully considered.

Casheer is really about commerce and are not really comparable to supernet.
You can read more about it here http://casheer.net/

We are still keeping an eye on supernet, but as Dan said it is very much a work in progress.

Thanks for your reply. I have already gone to the Casheer website and looked around, to be honest there isn't much actual information on there beyond describing the payment functionality.

I may not have been clear in my post but I wasn't comparing the functionality of casheer and supernet. It was more a question of asking what the benefit is for syscoin of joining casheer. We get more visibility which is certainly important, but are we not also helping ripple since casheer is built on their platform? Not saying that two projects can’t coexist or be synergistic, just not really seeing the obvious benefit here if we already have payment and marketplace functionality built into syscoin. Casheer just strikes me as a nice-looking app that allows you to pay in different currencies.

Looks like this cois just been added on eobot merged mining or taking sha mining and converting into other cryptos on the fly.
Also, it made a big jump in value with a 2.74 BTC buy on MintPal
oh and now I see someone could not hold his SYS and sold 0.001 BTC dropping the price back down...

1.
Syscoin is gaining ever more of an adoption, We have made it onto the preliminary list of coins to be adapted into the Casheer App FULL DETAILS
Do I need an account to read this? It's wrong decision to restrict an anonymous access to the forum.

2. I agree with some (I follow both threads from June): team lacks professionalism in terms of communication.
The most important thing - a little more respect, or simply polite.

Good luck!
