Let's hope thier new project will be better.
I just can say from coder point of view, and by looking their current code with so much improvement added from basic litecoin code, i don't think they can find better project currently, Syscoin code already provide big challenge for any developer, the features they projected are quite interesting and difficult but it also have big potential, and i hope they really bring qualified help because i believe it will be to slow to work on this size project with current rooster and of course some FUDers, competitors, or some random curious people already take some of developer time to answer the same thing over and over again, like other have said before, hire some Professional PR to handle all basic question and let the devs focus on technical development.
Moolah involvement in this only bring good thing so far, lets hope they can help devs and Syscoin to next level.
+1, this is why I hold all my coins until now, I think DEV will get more guys in after they got the first batch of investment, and DEV hold 50m + SYS themselves, this is why they will continue the development, but I prefer to trust they are honest men. Yeah we aren't going anywhere, and we're working on growing the team more to help with these types of communications while we focus on larger dev goals. There is no new project.
Moolah is fine. The terms were changed (under mutual agreement) to give the Syscoin dev team the benefit of the doubt. Under the pre-existing terms funds would have been returned to investors on launch day and there would be no Syscoin.
What gives him the right to change the terms?
From what I understood. Moolah was supposed to hold the coins for a short period of time while the coin launched and until all the features worked.
If they could get the features working he would pay the devs (they didnt work). We should have gotten a refund but he fucked us there. Probably because he had too much invested in syscoin and couldn't let it fail.
Now since he decided to not refund, eventhough the terms clearly stated that he should have. What gives him the right to hold the coins indefinitely?
There are two options
1. Refund
2. Give coins to devs
Why the fuck does moolah think that the coins are his to keep?
It's quite simple actually. Mutual agreement between the two parties. There is no indefinite holding of coins, there is a staggered release of the remaining 750 BTC over the next 3 months - a move that the vast majority of the community supported. This same move was agreed between ourselves and the Syscoin development team, in order to ensure continued development and provide increased community support in light of this move. For some reason, you're having a tantrum over this, for reasons I cannot quite fathom.
^^ This is correct actually and we have plans to talk to Moolah today.
To be clear there was never any complaining about funds once funds were received (500btc).When we didn't have *any* funding we made it clear we needed some part of the fund to move forward at which point Moolah released 500btc to us as I clearly stated in my last post. Totally enough to get going and that is what we did. If people had read our news updates they would even see we are already proactively applying this fund to hire 3 new people -
We'll continue as planned. Sorry for the pages of FUD that sprung up while I was busy this morning. We also have a new website and blog going live this weekend where you'll be able to find much more concise and clear information. We are also looking to hire a community manager- I agree entirely too much valuable time is spent managing this thread alone; CM's responsibilities will include managing this and more- Jobs will be posted on OP tonight and mirrored to website this weekend.
