The TeaCoin web wallet is up!

http://wallet.teacoin.net/

How secure is this wallet?
We encrypt all passwords in our database, any hacking attempts would be pointless.
Only keep as many coins in this wallet as you need for
daily use.
Secure desktop wallets are available for download at teacoin.net

Why do you have a fee?
The low 0.5% transaction fee goes toward paying for domain, server, & bandwidth costs.

How do I get Teacoins in my wallet?
Your deposit address is how others send Teacoins to your wallet.

I converted the web wallet into an Android app

Paper wallets

1, Fancy style text color choice is very bad, it is almost unreadable
2, Lack of guidlines for scissors
3, When cut and folded (BTC style), private key is to up so tamper evident seal do not cover it as originally intended

Just tree small steps to have perfect wallet>
change colour of text
add border
move private key closer to borders

I appreciate it. This was the constructive criticism I was looking for.  Now I know what to fix Smiley

Mr. Brew,

I'm happy to hear you think it's a good idea.

I think we should try to generate some other good ideas about how we structure the pack.  Perhaps others in the community have some thoughts as well?

A couple thoughts I've had since my last post:

1) What if in the pack we suggested that the shops value Teacoin at USD 0.10 (10 cents)?  There is obviously a big price difference between that and the presently traded price but it would encourage shop owners to buy it very cheaply on the open market (more demand) and also that others would be it more cheaply on the market (more demand) so they could use it at tea and coffee houses and get their tea/coffee more cheaply.  If we could get enough shops signed up quickly, we might see the price actually move rapidly towards that level.  On the other hand, if only a small number of shops sign up then the risk is that some of their customers flood them with Teacoin that they can't sell near the value they're accepting it and they stop using it.  Perhaps some kind of advertising campaign, say for example in that tea shop industry site with the Teacoin article could get a large number of shops online quickly.

2) How do we make Teacoin viral? Beyond the placard on the shop counter, how do we get customers excited about using Teacoin?  Maybe the shop gives them a 20% discount to the fiat price if they use Teacoin (valuing Teacoin at USD 0.10).  The shop owner is making a profit on the coins he bought cheaply and sold at USD 0.10 so he doesn't care about the 20% discount.

Points 1 and 2 work well together provided the existing holders of Teacoin don't rush out to any shop that starts accepting Teacoin and flood the shops.  As long as the shops can buy coin cheaply, sell to their customers at a profit, then give the customers a discount on their products, everyone is happy.  We, the holders of Teacoin, just need to sit tight and not dump into the market as the price starts to rise.  If you had 1000 shops with teacoin and each shop with 20 customers that bought 20$ of Teacoin that would be a nice little economy and probably a substantial market cap.

kong

I haven't forgotten still on my mind.  Still need to put my thoughts together.
