As I said here, I'm selling and buying small quantities to create some activity in BitTrex before they delete TECH. That would be the worst to happen.

Negotiations 1 or 2 TECHs, are mine.

More people need to do the same.

I have quite a few of the 500 orders sitting in there.

just bought up some more this morning.

Another block!

Looks like people might be catching on to the undervalued nature of this coin: https://www.bittrex.com/Market/Index?MarketName=BTC-TECH

Also have a look at how FireCoin is doing.  It's the same original dev and code (except half the coins and 1%) but it didn't have the initial mistake at PoS switch-over (so everyone is running the same version), just a VERY slow start and abandonment, so if you want to take a small gamble on TECH, do it before it gets more expensive!  We will revive this coin, one way or another - we are here to stay, and support!

Do we need transactions to help move the block-chain along or is it only coins being staked?  I have a tonne of coins.  I moved a few thousand to a wallet yesterday with the intent on staking them, they have not shown up yet.  Would carrying out 100 (or pick any arbitrary number) transactions throughout the day be of any use?

Transactions don't help the blockchain move - they are what the staking system is processing.  It's only staking that moves the blockchain - it's most helpful to leave the coins in a wallet without moving them.  There are always 2 transactions in each block anyways because the staking system destroys and creates coins automatically.

About low volume on Bittrex, we can help improve it?

I'm making small transactions to maintain at least the movement.

That's good? Other investors in this community could do the same?

It's been a lot of work but hopefully we're seeing the beginning of a smooth transition back to a working POS blockchain.  Bittrex is confirmed updated and syncing.  Updated Mac wallet is compiled and will be in the OP soon.

Anarchy is not chaos.
something you might try, just to widen out the network, is for as many of you as can spare the bandwitdth, put the line maxconnect=100 in your configuration file. I don't know if the wallet sets any limits without that line. Some do and some don't. those that do usually limit you to about 12 connected peers. The more connections per peer, the faster the network can move once things start staking.

I don't have this wallet, so I'm not sure that's a valid command. type help in console to find out. Not all wallets have the full RPC command set.

I have about 3k coins in my wallet I withdrew weeks ago that are now up to 23 confirms.  If the blockchain can slowly tick away until those are eligible for stake, 1.5% of the total coins staking should be enough to really help the blockchain along.

awesome.

haven't checked for blocks, are we still moving?

starting to send some coins to my wallet.  May be a bit risky, but I want to do anything possible to help.

Just FYI there are a LOT of transactions queued up for processing over the next several blocks - they should eventually get included in the blockchain but probably not for a while since there are so many piling up.

Once they all update there's a chance the blockchain will move again since more weight will be on the network.

yes, A BLOCK!!!  woot!  we've moved along to block 5069

Good sign - let's keep getting everyone updated.

Even with this the wallet says - (out of sync).

I have extracted from the list you gave just the nodes running on 1.0.1.1, added to conf and no luck.

This is the conf itself, named Techcoin.conf

rpcuser=aaa
rpcpass=aaa
rpcallowip=*
rpcport=57698
listen=1
daemon=1
logtimestamps=1
maxconnections=100
addnode=24.85.126.229
addnode=46.165.208.140
addnode=198.199.123.234
addnode=67.215.11.195
addnode=80.1.123.250
addnode=137.135.57.55
addnode=93.155.146.79

Btw, the wallet says 11 connections to the Techcoin network. And I have set just 7 nodes.

Please, tell me what I do wrong.

P.S. The wallet is showing that 5068 block of history have been downloaded. But stays with "out of sync".

You've got it all right - everyone is stuck at block 5068 and the wallet says it's out of sync because no new blocks have been generated in the last 10 minutes.  Only thing you could add to the config file is port=57697 but should be fine without it from what you've said.

The wallet will find other nodes that you haven't set as addnodes because p2p exchanges addresses between wallets automatically.

We're trying to get all the exchanges updated, as well as any other 1.0.0.0 nodes out there like the pools.  Once they all update there's a chance the blockchain will move again since more weight will be on the network.

Keep the wallet open as much as you can, even if you have no coins.  The more updated nodes on the net, the easier it is for people the get synced.
