I like to run a masternode on my desktop. I do not want to have a vps at this point and like to keep it all on my PC. The question is:
Do I need to do anything after creating the mn private key or just keep the client running?
It is possible to run a masternode on your local machine with your local wallet but we do not support that configuration because it is fraught with security issues. You don't need to keep running your controlling wallet all the time. Just the masternode.

Something is missing here.
I mean, this coin is out since 2012, for sure is one of the oldest coins in crypto . So many years.
Its a good coin, and the devs are active.
But i am missing something here. I dont understand why this coin dont get attention even in all this years. At its max it had a marketcap of 10mill$. Which is nothing in crypto , specially for such an old coin, that is in good health. And i am talking about january 2018, where all coins jumped like crazy. Even then, a 5 year old coin like terracoin , went to 10mil with such a terrible difficulty.
Can somebody explain to me why it never gets attention , even with all this years ?

I agree with your post. We have a massive infrastructure compared to 99% of all other coins. We are under constant development, and I post a weekly update rain or shine. I think the issue is that we are competing against so many scam coins. Seriously almost every coin out there is a scam coin promising garbage fairy tale dreams, and this burns legitimate people who want to use an alternative currency. Eventually when regulations come down and all of the scam coins are put out to pasture we will still be standing. In the mean time we are always working on improving TRC. Weekly Update is below!
