So anyway, I applied as a merit source :)
I hired soeone on Botcointalk to create a Bounty ann page.
Typos like these usually get me intrigued. Grin

Usually designers would provide a BB code, but this designer gave me bunch of Imgur images - and now I do not know how to insert links there ( social media, registration, Signature code etc), I have already paid . Asked him to give me BB code - but he does not respond. Can anyone please advice if there is a way to edit those "imgur images"? If not  - how do I report him for not providing the service as offered. I have proof of payment and email communication. Not much money at stake, but time is lost , plus I would like to warn the community. Thanks!

As per the last message here:

So lucifer was the one who was hired to do this job?

But generally speaking, you should make it clear that the project was to be dealt with on Upwork. Hence this does not concern the bitcointalk Scam Accusations - in which you should lodge a complaint on Upwork or however they deal with such problems because I dont freelance and I have no idea how they function. Dont think anybody would be willing to support a flag against them without evidence from both sides.

Still you could withhold the payment till the work was complete, that usually the leverage on your side till completion, that was a mistake from your side.

Usually ANN threads can be prepared by putting these images one after another with the proper BB code. Take a look at this topic:

Wait a minute, your hired someone to create a bounty thread here. Was he/she able to deliver? Because if he/she did then the BB codes of all the images used on that page should be accessible by anybody. Can anybody post an image here without using BB codes?

As far as I know, a lot of ANN and bounty threads here use imgur images. There's no problem with that for as long as the images appear on the page properly bearing all the necessary information.

Also, what was your agreement? Was he/she hired for that page alone? Because if he/she was paid to make the bounty thread and he/she delivered fully, then it wouldn't be his/her problem anymore if you have a hard time creating materials for your social media, registration, signature codes, and so on.

BTC price road to $80k
If just an image you still put a link on that image you just simply put the IMG BBcode inside the URL BBcode.

Sample this code below

Code:
[url=https://bitcointalk.org/][img]https://i.imgur.com/9qcDCw1.png[/img][/url]

The result must be this

Point the mouse at the image when you click it you will redirect to https://bitcointalk.org/ you can edit it with your own image and URL.

Next time if you are going to hire someone always use escrow or hire a designer which is a well-known designer here on the forum. For now, this is the only option if you want to get benefits from those images but next time hire someone that knows how to code them in BBcode.
