20 sec after Registration opend the 1000 Nodes are gone...very fast
They removed the rate limiting factor for this registration, which was pulling the update. Since everyone was able to pull the update before the registration began, as soon as it opened the slots were able to fill quickly with 'make restart'.

Only 1 Wallet per node
Cannot register 1 wallet with multiple nodes
Only 1 IP per node - need 1 VPS = 1 Wallet
5000 TNT or more, but 5000 minimum
Having more TNT than 5000 won't change the chances to get registered
You can use a wallet with other coins on it too, no problem.
Use the youtube tutorial "how to create tierion node" from Server Cookie
Registration is on 28th Feb at 2:00PM PT / 22:00PM UTC. Use this to convert to your local time

from VPS, do cd chainpoint-node
type make ps
3 lines should display "Up"
Then, you can type "make logs" and it should display a lot of lines with "Trying to register... x/60"

Be connected here on 28th Feb at 2:00PM Pacific Time.
When Wayne/Glenn says "Registration open!"
Type on your node "make restart" press Enter.
Cross fingers. Don't do anything else.
When they say it's over, do next —>
How to check it's registered?
Check live during registration -
type make logs —> If you see "trying to register..." you are not registered.
Afterwards -
Connect to your node via SSH / Putty / SuperPutty, type cd chainpoint-node
Then type make auth-keys
If it returns a value with public key + Hmac key - you are registered.
I'm registered, what's the average win per month I can hope to obtain?
Rewards are randomly given every 30 minutes to 1 node - 1500 TNT
These numbers are just guestimate, they will round up after few months
1 node -> 0.24 rewards
5 nodes -> 1.22 rewards
10 nodes -> 2.44 rewards
15 nodes -> 3.66 rewards
20 nodes -> 4.88 rewards
What should I do now that my node is registered to ensure my node is eligible for reward?
Make sure you always have 5,000 TNT in the wallet linked to your node
Check your node daily; using make ps (all 3 services must be UP) and check logs by doing make logs.
Ensure you have the latest version of the node software by doing make upgrade when an update is released (message on the tierion channel or discord)
Make sure you pay your host each month
Come back if you are more questions.

Have there been any significant updates on adoption of the TNT platform beyond node updates? I'm not seeing anything in the press of recent.
The reward is 1500 TNT randomly rewarded to 1 of the nodes every 30 minutes (48 times a day)

Does anyone know about Error 126 when trying to get auth-keys?
Did you get any info about that?I stumbled upon the same error a few weeks ago. Check that you have installed all required dependencies. My case was a missing library. Eventually, you should be ok after node reinstall.

Did you get any info about that? What happens if VPS servers gets auto terminated or they restart their servers

go to old node and do this :
cd ~/chainpoint-node
then :
make auth-keys
that will auth put your auth keys, the first number is your wallet address
the second is your auth key
take the auth key and save it to a notefile
then head over to new node
and do this :
cd ~/chainpoint-node
make auth-key-update KEY=xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
The key you see there is a sample key(edited)
you would need to use your own key
then after you done that
do this :
make upgrade
then you will see in your logs that the node is working
I think he asking not a how to resolve the situation, but what happen if your node stop working for some reason(problems with VPS, etc.) What will be in this situation? Do you lose your registration or you have some time(and how much?) to resolve this issue.
