We could have better Freerolls if people weren't allowed to register 4 hours ahead of time. Maybe keep registration limited to an hour before? 20% on average sitting out (some not even logged in). Perhaps even unregister people when they log out, if they log in 2 minutes prior to the tournament they can still register(it is not like there will be a lack of spots).
Perhaps give a warning message when a user logs out that they will be unregistered for tournaments and will need to re-register when they log in?
I understand the reason to limit user signups, but this is definitely hindering expansion. Also what about Twitter/Facebook users that don't have Bitcointalk accounts? I realize that this will be settled on a per user basis, but on the surface it appears that you want to keep this project as esoteric as possible.

if they don't show up within 5 minutes after the tournament started, they will be kicked out automatically.
regarding the new accounts, i'd rather have it this way to reduce multiple accounts owned by the same person. so far i only added one new account via facebook and i would continue to rarely do that. but anyone having bitcointalk jr member status would automatically get one if they are interested.
we have about 1 year to distribute 80M TILT and i'm expecting new signups would be slow early and would accelerate later.
