While looking for a potential project to support I stumble Theta and am impressed that the team running these projects are well known in the industry, you cannot disregard a co-founder of Youtube and chief technology and their mother company is also huge in broadcast industry, I have downloaded and now running their Pre Guardian just today and let's see how it goes have added this to my portfolio.

I think the biggest difference is that theta has it's own Theta token seperate from the Ethereum network, while Livepeer is a token build on the Ethereum network.
Theta also has Tfuel which you can earn by lending your bandwith to video streams. While Theta it self is used to Stake to become validator notes and earn Tfuel as well.
