I think now it's time to go up?

Quote
Check back soon for updates as we now get back to work on making TokenCard the must-have debit card for the entire token community.

Is there any info on that?

An announcement will make the price go up potentially...

I guess TenX is the way to go. (Or Monaco Card?)

Tokencard Slack: 2.586 people
Monaco Slack: 1.259 people
TenX Slack: 2.243 people

Token Card ICO was the first
Monaco ICO is running right now
TenX will follow 24th of June and they already have a working product (mobile wallet and linked card to go shopping)

I believe strongly that we will see even 5$ at the End of the year. Tokencard should be around 100 Million Marketcap in my Opinion. Tokencard is all about Partnerships and licensing.

Exactly, and what do they have right now ?!

I wish I wouldn`t invest in TokenCard
The ETH price was $78...

Does anyone believe the price of TokenCard is going to be at least $3??

So I found out three baby birds, TKN, TENX, and Monaco are presently competing in the nest.  I am hoping the bird my money's on will not fall off the nest or get squashed before it gets to fly away.

Tokencard team up with Bancor is driving the price up , looks like we are going to the moon.

tokencard has nothing to do in favor of bancor. why do you say so? if bancor is a mountain, then tokencard is only a small thing. try to evaluate tokencard with respect to its own process.

This is a sponsored story... It's bs. TKN is not gonna deliver within now and a year. Be prepared for this.

Just buy Pluton. They already started development a year ago.

Tokencard registered on Gibraltar, will have a VISA gateway, Wavecrest partnership, will integrate with Bancor and will deliver.

There's an update by the TKN team today:
https://medium.com/@MonolithStudio/bancor-the-tokencard-perspective-622af21e268

Pluton is different, I like it too, but can't compare it.

Plutus is for contactless payments (think Apple Pay or Android Pay). It will be handy, but there are limits to the transactions you can perform contactless.

Tokencard and Bancor teaming up is really nice. You could whip your phone out, use Status to check Bancor/Tokencard to see your funds, and then use a Visa (Tokencard) to actually buy things. Tokencard's token is up for debate (I need to read more into it) but the Bancor partnership is huge IMO.

Thank you, so I assume the token will be initially have zero assets, but each time somebody uses the card 1% gets allocated to the fund. The investment will depend on the accumulation of fees as well of the value of the fund.  If the future is dark and nobody uses the card then conceivably TKN investment is zero b/c not much fees. If on the other hand, the card becomes popular we might see TKN investment grow due to accumulation of fees alone.    Presumably TKN will be traded over the market based on expected future value of the fund and a base value being corresponding share of the token to the fund.

I read earlier about a warning to stay away from the investment because it is unclear how the company (Monolith studios?) operating the token will finance itself for the long term.  Giving the benefit of the doubt,  I am thinking they will do so by having a substantial share of TKNs to sell as well as collecting some small fees on top of the transaction.  Hope all of this is right.

Yes that is pretty much the case. It all depends on people using the card. Monolith studios does own some tokens, and they do charge some fees, so financing for their operation also depends on people using their card.

One of their main issues at the moment as I see it, is their poor comunication.
I am guessing it will pick up once their product is live. TKN is very cheap now, so I you believe their marketing department can turn things around, then its a pretty good purchase, if not then dont buy.

I am buying hoping to see something similar to what happened to SNGLS.

Hi, according to my reading a TKN token is backed by an underlying asset fund. So IS this currently the case (JUNE 2017), do they have a description of the assets in the underlying fund? Or is this yet to be determined?  My concern is that if they do the allocation in the future then what guarantees are there about the final value of fund to be allocated?  Thank you for your insight or corrections to any misunderstanding.
There is no underlying asset fund. There will be one once the creditcards go live and strats collecting fees. It should start on 15th of September for the first cards.

It will be held in a smart contract so it will be easy to follow fee collectioin.
