Indeed, the latest game projects on blockchain were not particularly successful, Playkey, for example. But people really like gambling, that is why such a great interest in this kind of projects.
It's 3-4 different ways of gambling for investors though...
You have to gamble that the ICO will result in the team actually launching the product successfully.
Then you have to gamble that the TBL token value doesn't decline, against the BTC or ETH, that investors will exchange for TBL token.
Then you have the gamble that there will be SO many people interested in gambling on this platform (over the thousands of options for real money, bitcoin and ethereum that already exist), that the return to investors holding the TBL tokens actually make it a profitable token to hold.
There is also the gamble that regulators won't stop them from offering their product. And the Tombola name being used by a UK gambling company for a long time....
That is a LOT of gambling for a team that wants to launch a gambling product and needs $22 million just to launch and have some runway.

I hope that the list of games will be for every taste. I am also pleased that Tombola project strives to make the gaming industry as transparent and honest as possible, it is important for everyone.

There are 3 games? And a lottery on the blockchain that nobody needs... what exactly is the problem the team is solving that the world will somehow run to ?
If anything, our skepticism on this project (never having a return to investors), should make the team that much more motivated to not fail like all the other gambling ICO's we've seen lately.

A quick look at whitepaper for us was enough to stay away and ask lots of questions team doesnt want to answer regarding regulation concerns. Seems they want to pretend they don't need to worry about the laws.... so never seemed worth investors puting $22 million in to find out the regulation will be problem.

Tombola needs to be more up front about WHERE you will offer lottery and what has been done to ensure it is LEGAL in those countries. If launching worldwide, people will ask government regulators in every country to find whoever is offering illegal lottery in countries and make them stop.
And the FortuneJack example may as well be a Trillion dollar revenue estimate? Whitepaper just makes up numbers for revenue, there is no basis in reality that FortuneJack makes $8 billion. So investors get no idea how much your team expects to earn when entering markets with new product on EOS.

Tombola is looking very likely to succeed, it is amazing how the project is full of too many dedicated Chinese people and it is clearly evident that projects driven by Chinese teammates really fare better in most cases than most other ones on the blockchain. I think tombola is very useful most especially for those who are always playing in casino and lottery it will give them an opportunity to have a less hassle gambling game with the use of EOS system.
What if nobody wants to buy EOS to play lottery though?
