Well, I just got home and during 8 hours of mining with a single i7 920, surprisingly I actually have 1 block but from 6 hours ago while diff was way lower. As I thought, just a little too late for solo mining (unless 50 TWE turns out valuable enough to cover the mining time)
I'll leave it mining for a while longer but I'm not hopeful about finding another block.

dont be so negative guys. I found two in the last 180 blocks. 600k/hash 3930k. This is the best time to mine. when you play the pool game you only get small bits, take the full reward before it does go to difficulty MOON
Quoted for truth. I'm only using an old Core i7 920 using 7/8 cores for it. ~250kh/s. I've found 15 blocks since last night around 23:00 EST. Just got one about 10 minutes ago too.. Great time to mine right now.
