I have a question for you guys. Who knows how to sign a driver for Windows.

Installing unsigned drivers in Windows 8 not an easy task.

OK guys. Both Twin's running now on RaPi with MinePeon V. 0.2.4.2 and bfgminer 3.8.0.
Speed ~10+ Gh/s and Temp. 20 - 30 °C with activ Fan cooling! Grin

Next step: replace 1 resistor to modd the puppies ....  Wink

Great. Thanks for reporting. *thumbs up*

Good morning,

I may have something interesting for you. Yesterday evening, I was working on a new firmware version for the Twinfury miner which will support changing the supply voltage for the Bitfury chips. So, you will be able to increase the supply voltage by software to reach a better performance but then you may need some fan to cool the device. The newly set voltage level is saved in a non-volatile memory. That means when you unplug your device and reconnect it, the voltage will be set to the previous value.

The drawback of this software update is that it requires also a very small hardware modification. You need to add one resistor.

You can see in the picture below that bfgminer provides an option for changing the supply voltage and also shows the actual voltage level. Valid voltage range is 800mV to 950mV.

When I'm finished with testing the new firmware, I will try to get it into luke-jr's bfgminer repository. I will also write a small and detailed instructions manual for updating the firmware and adding the resistor.

Ohh ... I see :-)

RaPi does def. work with USB2 ! I had 2 BlueFury running on my RaPi without any Problem!
The question is: Does Minepeon with bfgminer support the Twin's ??

We will find out ;-)

I compile bfgminer from git on my RaPI now, TwinFury is enabled, hardware should come next 2 days.

Thank you andreas for that wonderful howto Smiley

small edit: block erupter (BEE) does not support temperature measure?

The 2.1A power port is only 1 port, the PSU has 12V 5A.

Will RaPI work in USB 2.0 mode with such a HUB?

I wait for your test tommorow Smiley

I haven't try the RaPi yet! I will probably do tomorrow. Right now I have a ExSys 7 Port USB 2 Hub with 4A PSU.

I think 4 port with 1A AND 9 Port with 2.1A is nod enough !! And the RaPi does afaik not work with USB 3 !!

Got my two puppies in the mail today Grin Very FAST delivery!!

Up and running in notime and they'r FAST!!
Right now on a Win7 64 with bfgminer 3.8.0. Will try later on my RaPi.

Thank you aauer1 !

Which USB HUB can you recommend for use with RaPI?

I have an erupter working and need a HUB for the fresh shipped Twins. I only have a normal 4-Port USB 2.0 HUB with 1A. I Think to Anker 7+1 Port or the new one 9+1 Port (power port with 2.1A).

Which one works with RaPi....?

I will post some tuning infos on the http://minecoin.net website, too (changing resistor values). Basically, the hardware is prepared for dynamic voltage scaling by software. There are "only" two things missing to do that. First, one resistor must be soldered in. Second, the software has to support this feature. Haven't got the time to implement this feature.

I'm currently very busy with shipping all orders and talking with the postal service about the first 3 parcels I shipped because their status isn't updating. So, will take some time to post the tuning infos on the website.

Your shop items are showing as 4.5 – 5GH/s, can you confirm that this is or not the case please?
If less, please can you update the shop?

At 4.5 – 5GH/s I'd buy some but if they were less than advertised when purchased, I'd not be getting what I paid for...

I can confirm that all units I ship are tested and are reaching a hash rate of 4.5 - 5 GH/s if the power supply is good. Most of the devices are between 4.6 and 4.8 GH/s some are above or below this hash rate.
I'm testing the devices for at least 1 hour and if they are not reaching 4.5 GH/s they are sorted out (e.g. I sorted out a device which reached 4.44 GH/s after a couple of hours).

I'll try replace the resistor as I did on my bluefury's to see if they get a bit more mh/s ...

You could also try the pencil mode to ;-)
