UCoin ThreadToday we present a brand new token called Usoamic. There's going to be a swap from UCoin to Usoamic. Please read more in F.A.Q.
At the moment a pre-release version of the token is launched in the Rinkeby test network. Anyone can install
Ethereum Mist or use
MEW, add a contract and test at his own will.
ETH and USOAMIC, valid for testing, can be obtained through a faucet.

A: There was no UCoinTeam as 'team' almost from the start. It happened that for the time passed since the launch of the UCoin, I was stuck with a lot of other things to take care of.
Now, the code requires almost complete revision and this takes a lot of time, so I decided to find someone, who will work with me on the project.
I know him and I can trust him. Initially, he will be engaged in promotion and interaction with the community while I will keep taking care of the development. He will be writing from the account called
Usoamic.
Q: What's the overall number of coins?
A: ~ 12.5M
Q: How will the coins be distributed?
A: All the coins will be distributed among UCoin holders in a 4.5 : 1 ratio (4.5 Usoamic for 1 UCoin). Unchanged coins will be burnt.
Q: What about those who held coins on C-CEX?
A: Tokens will be added to UCoin holders if we'll go to C-CEX (Which we plan to do).
Q: Which blockchain will the contract be launched on?
A: We plan to go with Ethereum, but the final decision has not yet been made. The test version of the contract is launched on Rinkeby.
Q: What are the swap time limits?
A: The swap process will be completed on March 1, when the token will be launched in the real network.
Q: What functionality is there in the contract?
A: In additon to the standart functions that allow you to burn and send money, the Ideas Platform is added to the contract. Users can offer their ideas to developers and the community, and vote (as well as comment) on existing ideas. At the moment, you can add ideas only through the Ethereum wallet, but in the future a lightweight Web version of the platform will be released.
Q: What about the design, can you make the forum topic and web site more modern and colorful?
A: The release version of the web site will be fully charged with modern design and functionality.
Q: What's the main goal of all this?
A: The main goal is to make a coin that is convenient for ordinary users by all means; the stability of which won't depend on the developer's state. Source codes for wallets, faucets, etc. will be later posted in open access, so anyone could walk them through and maybe use for their needs.
