If this coin is for Africa, why is there an ICO
This should be completely mineable
Thank you for your interest, and for raising your concerns.
To answer your question. We will only sell a small percentage of coins during the ICO. The reason for this is to raise funds that will allow us to further develop the infrastructure, and also to launch mobile wallet apps. The Una team however will only keep 1% of total token supply.
We have great ambitions for Una, but to get there, we will need proper partnerships and infrastructure that would allow people to use Una on a daily basis (Point of Sale, Wallet App, Partnerships, Marketing Campaigns, etc). Una will not succeed without investing further in tech that would facilitate adoption.
The coin will become worthless if don't have any way to actually spend or use it in a real world scenario. People in Africa mostly use cash, and getting them to adopt Una will require a strong marketing effort. They will also need to be able to use it for every day product purchases.
