I think you have not read enough about Cardano. Its super fast / scalable. If you dont believe, its fine but go through the video and you will understand the power of it.
Agreed, Cardano is Universa's main competitor. ETH is slower than both but has the first-mover advantage. Universa can't compete with that.But being a latecomer with a better throughput is what both Cardano and Universa have going for them.
