I also want to thank leea-1334 and yourboss for your kind answers. I have in fact 55 tokens all ready and would probably have more if friends would have listen to me. Roll Eyes

I`m much of a fan by now and i think it`s great how speed of transactions got so increased by rejecting miners.

Hereby I want to ask if anyone knows how to buy their tokens with fiat (euro in my case) after bounty (28th onwards) and more importantly: how to swap them back into fiat once estimated ROI is reached. Can anyone please answer this?

Which again raises my concern. As they achieve estimated ROI this would significantly add up to the price of transaction, off course unless the price of transaction drops to 0.1, 0.01, 0.001 and so on as value of token boosts up against fiat currencies.

A rather interesting idea. Could you please explain, how will they utilize the tokens? Do they have definite amount they are going to utilize? Also I understand how the investors will profit from this mechanism, but how will the whole platform profit?

The coin used to cost $10, but in the latest version of wp they have reconsidered its cost. So now 1 token UTN is $0,01. They did it so as it is more convenient for users to calculate the cost of transaction. In other words, when the price was $10, the calculation was 1UTN = a big number of transactions. But now you can calculate: 1UTN=1transactuon Wink

I think they should have kept the token tied to a specific crypto. The dollar or fiat value always confuses people. But yes, I suppose the recalculation was necessary to make it more convenient and to ensure transaction costs would always be low. Anyway, the free tokens for registration is 50 UTN, so at the very least you can make 50 transactions for free.

Interesting to see that the top key points are all aimed at Bitcoin problems. But then you have a few queries. If Universa nodes do not require mining, then how can you incentivize or reward people for verifying the transactions and smart contracts? No fees, no work.

Secondly, what is your smart contract developed from scratch look like or rather how do they improve on something like Ethereum? It does not seem very clear. 10,000 transactions per second. How many nodes would you need to do that?

Hi mmo4allnewbie, 50 UTN is (unfortunately) not worth $500 (yet), but worth $0.5. The price of one UTN in the ICO is $0.01.
