Many alts are like ponzis untill the community evolves this one may survive.

Personally I think it was a mistake for the Uno developers to work with Wolong on his silly panda coin. But I think Uno will rebound in time.

Game of deception... he seems to chose the right name, or maybe not, I don't know and don't care, however  this discussion here can become a game of deception...  Huh Let's wait and see what happens with UNO.

Some of these crypto coins are or will become scams, hope this is not the case... however the pool I was mining UNO is exchanging it directly in BTC so I wasn't affected by price drop very much, as I stopped mining just in time.
BTW, who is this Wolong??

Wolong is that guy: https://twitter.com/GameOfDeception

Hilarious to see his followers whining about how unethical he is when they themselves have been manipulating noobs in pump and dump scams for months now.

Why is the price crashing?

Because Wolong bailed out of Pandacoin and he made a total mess. Check here: https://twitter.com/search?q=%23Unobtanium&src=hash

Maybe Wikipedia can help us a bit:

"In engineering, fiction, and thought experiments, unobtainium is any fictional, extremely rare, costly, or impossible material, or (less commonly) device needed to fulfill a given design for a given application. The properties of any particular unobtainium depend on the intended use. For example, a pulley made of unobtainium might be massless and frictionless; however, if used in a nuclear rocket, unobtainium would be light, strong at high temperatures, and resistant to radiation damage."
 Huh

When training engineers, complex problems are turned into simple problems by cutting out the complexities, so in the quote above, a fictional substance is being described.

Where do you guys think this coin is going value wise? I for one do think that this coin is able to reach .5, due to the name and the combination of it it being so scarce. Any thoughts? Because lets face it, in the end we are in it for the future value.

Park a percentage of crypto trading profits in Unobtanium.  I made a few buys at 0288 and 0255.
On Cryptsy or other? Thanks.

Help out UNO and a great exchange.  Follow the link and vote to get the coin listed!

https://www.mintpal.com/voting
but why! why are you pumping this coin? anyone! what's so special in this coin?

This is supposed to be a high value super-scarce coin, and no premine so no big holders overshadowing everything. It's not even about using it as a payment system. Pump it up high (with some help from some useful egomaniacs or whoever else happens by) and then keep it there, because the idea is that dumping this coin won't be so easy due to scarcity, This should mean solid value preservation, no wild swings etc. Hope that explains the thinking behind the coin (at least my own understanding of it). Note that it's also very well coded I understand, and miners like it.

Hope that helps, the unobtanium community in my opinion isn't very talkative really. Vertcoins thread has over 300 pages for instance, and a clamouring sub-reddit thing, and it's own forum, and lots of friendly people, and Dodge of course similar. Unob folk are all tight-lipped lo-profile. Guess you're not even supposed to know about it unless you're l33t or whatever, and uno is patient, doesn't seem to care for PR.

Happy to be corrected if/where wrong.

+1
