6 Days straight so far, no issues here. X11mod

Sapphire 280X w/ Stilt BIOS Dual-X Windows 8.1 x64, 14.6 Drivers @ 1150 mV using TRIXX. My card is subborn so that's why it's only hashing at that rate. And yes I think I'm using sgminer version from the first post, I don't remember

First values are the 280x

how can I switch to x15 on bamt/smos?

when running x13 I could change kernel type by

kernel: "x13mod" but at when putting x15mod or x15, it says "algorithm x15mod not found"

http://www.reddit.com/r/BAMT/comments/299rgd/x15_miner/
upvote here and it might happen Tongue.  Its hard to say when they will add it to bamt.  I am sure there is a version out there that has it by now.

Can you post a link to download a complete package with miner and kernel. When I put the kernel in my sgminer it works for 20-40 minutes and then crashes.

I was going to originally but every miner seems to be packed with virustotal dings.  Here is the exact miner im using. its the same as provided from lasybear i just added the pre-modified kernels (updated as of 07/01/2014 with the 06/03/2014 lasybear version). Check the link in the OP for how to fix your own kernel and/or to see the virustotal comparison (like i said all miners are scary, not sure who to trust since virsutotal has SO many red flags on EVERY miner now xD).

Just fyi will be adding graphics to the page so its easier to distinguish and is more fun to look it but I still need the community help! I don't have the GPU to test on and I don't want to list just random settings for each from elsewhere.  Please post your new results with the 14.6 drivers on as many algo as you have tested as well as your config! This will be a simple to search list of quality settings thats maintained and stable! Not just a massive list of randoms settings Smiley.

WORK IN PROGRESS Smiley

Hey all!

A lot of you may already know me from the past I created an extensive kalroth mining guide as well as a vertminer guide:

http://www.overclock.net/t/1461916/tutorial-ultimate-guide-to-tweaking-amd-cgminer-3-7-2-kalroth-edition-sgminer-instructions-included-aswell-get-the-most-hash-out-of-your-gpu

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/ann-new-thekev-vertminer-ultimate-vertminer-guide-for-windows-466867

Unfortunately I have gotten exploited on many reddit posts so I have decided to create my own account and provide some information to help there aswell (Which is where this information originated).

So Now I am bringing it back to bitcointalk to find the best new settings for all gpu and post them both here and reddit.  These settings need to be tested and fairly universal.  I will create and maintain a section for each gpu as new settings are posted.

First to reply with the most universal settings for a gpu will get there btc addy added (even if it gets slightly modified later, completely different but better will take spot at my discretion).

VERY IMPORTANT!!! Download the new 14.6 drivers this will make a HUGE difference!! IF YOU ARE UPGRADING DRIVERS BE SURE TO DELETE AND/OR MOVE YOUR BIN FILES

WARNING!! if you have issues with x11 or x13 (hw errors) after installing 14.6 view this post:
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.7615953
(you can also try downloading the bin files [currently only available for pitcairn] from bottom of post if you want to use old drivers, or download the pre-modified kernels for any gpu to save time)
I tried to find some fairly universal settings unfortunately algorithms have some differences (still work in progress):

270x / 270 / 7870
(OP: DMfree88 BTC: 171Mb7xb4JjMJ5usvBFBWEHqnNxaYN7a26)

x11/x13/x15/Nist5:

"thread-concurrency" : "13188",
"rawintensity" : "131088",
"gpu-threads" : "2",
"worksize" : "64"

groestl/myriad-groestl:

"rawintensity" : "131088",
"gpu-threads" : "1",
"worksize" : "256",
"thread-concurrency" : "13188"

Generally set my gpu clock to 1100 and memclock to 1465 for all listed algo.
(1250 memclock will lose about 15kh/s and 5w power)

Your hashrate low or hw errors on x11/x13?

Try using the pre-modified kernel below and delete/move your bin file. If the HW errors persist please post below! We will figure it out!

Your hashrate low on other algo?

Try using bin files from below to see if it makes a difference (only available for pitcairn, please post your bins!). If not please post! I will try to help you figure it out for everyones sake! Smiley

Your hashrate higher?Huh

PLEASE POST AND TELL ME HOW! Tongue Also remember it must be STABLE Smiley. Would love to hear more results! Feel free to comment as well! Smiley

Also if you haven't checked it out already MRR is hands down the best rig rental site. Not only that but its outstanding for monitoring hash-rates and setting up fail-over for cudaminer rigs. Check it out for yourself:

Bin files. With these you can use older drivers or avoid editing your kernel if you are having issues:

Pitcairn (270x / 270 / 7870):
https://mega.co.nz/#!MJNQ3JDA!YuLvIfSBUZsptCHUImZnTOI1CNwmcLt9xaMRhKQ1QuI

You can backup your old bin files or just delete them. The bin is located in the miner folder simply place in the same folder as the miner it will automatically be used.
When using these bins you MUST have the same settings as above. You can adjust intensity but most other settings must be the exact same to use the bin file.

-------------------------------------------------------------

Pre-modified CL (Kernel) files for x11mod + x13mod to work with 14.6 drivers (ANY GPU):

https://mega.co.nz/#!dZtQCR5Z!qP22_Hw-wHWOfXb7Ok0fiSdsvnimImWNAYv__pbswMk
replace cl files in kernels folder (must be x11mod/x13mod capable miner) then delete bins before starting miner (if bin is not deleted it will use old cl file settings)

-------------------------------------------------------------

Pre-modified CL (Kernel) files for darkcoin-mod + marucoin-mod (sgminer5) to work with 14.6 drivers (ANY GPU):

https://mega.co.nz/#!xZMCzRJa!bHfMKm-X75qXZFVKAB0QgK5zoRWEh3JVZAd7e_qfWlY
replace cl files in kernels folder (must be darkcoin-mod/marucoin-mod capable miner) then delete bins before starting miner (if bin is not deleted it will use old cl file settings)

-------------------------------------------------------------

REMEMBER TO POST YOUR GPU SETTINGS AND TEST OTHERS! WE NEED COMMUNITY RESULTS! THANKS Smiley.
