The Vortex blockchain is an experimental open-source, hybrid Proof-of-Work (PoW) and Proof-of-Stake (PoS) blockchain fueled by the native Vortexcoin (V0X) cryptocurrency. The public launch of the Vortex blockchain is going to occur on 20h00 -12/02/2020 GMT+7.

For the first 2 years, Vortex will have a hybrid PoS/PoW emission. PoW mining will last for approximately 2 years, until block height 525,600, after which only PoS-based emission remains. In other words, after 2 years, all ~117.5m (including superblock) V0X coins allocated for mining will be distributed and in circulation.
