Dev team is usually using exchanges to do the Airdrops as they have direct access to user exchange wallets in secure way and user give them permission to do that.
Also just to let the community know, dev team is working on game integration api as well as other projects which will allow more user interaction directly with blockchain. Also talks with some game labels are also underway. Just wait, exciting time is ahead of us.
