Is it best to keep your coins all in one stack for staking? Or break them up into specific sized inputs?

Nice staking info thanks. I left all my coins in staking unlocked (but encrypted of course) for about 2hrs, it mind 1.00 VIRAL lol, then nothing for awhile so I re-locked and let them fall back into 'spendable' naturally like you said. Then I closed the wallet. Will try staking again tonight.

Can someone explain how this staking works? I'm a little embarassed to admit I never bothered staking a coin before, saw them all as coins to dump with profit until this one.
The staking weight drops with time, and as coins drop from this weight they move from "spendable" to "stake" in the wallet. After a time all coins drop into the "stake" category does this mean your weight will drop to zero? Also, when all my coins dropped into the "stake" category, you can't send any. When this happened I locked the wallet then unlocked it again, and after a few minutes they moved from "stake" to "spendable" and I had to wait 8 hours for them to mature again. Is there another way to make some coins sendable without locking the wallet and starting the maturing process over?

This will make sure x number of coins will not be staked for POS rewards. Coin age can still be earned on your reserve balance. Simply remove the command to resume POS minting with those coins

that is correct, maturity has to happen before eligible for re-staking. edit to add: in a properly staking PoS wallet network.

Yes, after all coins have gone through the staking process (of the ones you want to stake) then technically you can close your wallet for another 8 hours. Re-open to start the process over. Pro-tip though, wallet.dats can get corrupted (it's rare but why take the chance) if you close the wallet prior to coins coming back to avail balance while staking. So it's best to let them do this naturally. Save a copy of your wallet.dat offline just in case.

I am not a expert at this but almost all POS coins works this way.

Viral looking good after some growing pains. Bittrex will take it to 15k easy, then who knows how high in the long term.
Price is already 9K ,it will cross 20K as soon as it gets listed on trex .In next 30 days we can expect a price of atleast 100K.
